From what one of the mods said in another thread it wasn't a direct attack on Sony but a DDoS on a DNS server company which affected a number of other companies including Sony, Xbox, Spotify, Reddit and a bunch of others.

Not true... i have seen other bids on items with only 10 seconds left when i couldn't anymore and they said its cuz they are investigating an exploit.

I would suggest everyone check for updates to their graphics cards... could be part of the problem. I know there was an update for Nvidia but idk about ATI or any other cards. Since I upgraded mine I haven't had any issues.

you only have to do a temporary disabling of Avast then turn it back on once the game is started as Avast is only tagging the launcher... this way your pc isn't unprotected while you are playing.

seriously with the extent of the damage that has likely been done by this exploit I wouldn't expect them to bring them up before they know exactly whats going on and how they are going to fix it.
