You get mail every time your items in AH sell, or don't sell, or you win an auction, pretty sure you also get one when you lose an auction, then you get them every time each of your toons pass a certain level threshold, it's also the fastest way to trade collectibles between different toons on the same account, etc. etc.
I'm aware of the diminishing returns for stats, but I'm not sure how the math goes exactly - for example, adding 500 power at 2000 power will clearly be worth more than adding 500 power at 5000 power (same for any stat from what I've seen), but how does for example adding 500 power at 3000 power compare to adding 500…
This is the go-to spec for T2 and higher dungeons, and the only way to keep trash during boss fights in check unless you have an exceptionally skilled and coordinated (and probably geared) group. Two questions 1) Would you consider the Magelord or the High Vizier set superior for a build like this? Unless they have some…
Which are those though? WoW is a pop-culture phenomenon, and even it is slowly bleeding users (I have no numbers of course, but I assume some of them end up in F2P games), and EVE is a textbook definition of a statistical outlier. What other subscription based MMOs make money?
Hm, guess I wasn't clear enough :D While leveling, when I joined people for dungeons via manual invites (so either by sending them a tell, or getting invited directly from an explorer area map, not by queuing (queueing?)), we'd all have to run out to the dungeon entrance and click on the door to enter (as opposed to…
Not sure if it's been asked here already, but how does manual grouping work for epic dungeons? Do you have to run out to the dungeon, same as in non-epic dungeons, or does it have a different mechanic?
In case anyone's actually interested, since it was brought up, the quickest Skyrim speedrun on youtube (the quickest one I found after a 30 second search, at least) is this one, at 1h32m. According to this thread though, there are even faster runs around.
Why would they force anyone to do anything? :\ Raids in DDO for example are regularly shortmanned, and older raids are often soloed, and the game still had (the last time I played it) a somewhat healthy raid scene (its problems laid elsewhere). (Edit: to clarify, regular dungeons in DDO are 6-man, raids are 12-man)
