Yes, of course. Priest, Healer, Thief, Meatshield, Mage... I actually understand how to play AD&D, if you're suggesting I'm dumb or something. I started RPing with Rolemaster tables, so AD&D isn't that hard. But it's an arguably sad excuse to justify anything than melancholy for childhood years or some sort of pedantic…
You need to play the ruleset a bit. At first I was also filled with prejudice, but I gave it a try. I noticed how easy it is to DM, it's extremely simple to design encounters. Also, my PnP group never played D&D and I tried to explain them both 3.5 and 4th ed. They vastly prefer the later, as its easier for them to grasp…
Forgotten Realms Player Guide: says everything the FR article says, except the "Asmodeus has taken upon all the tiefling's bloodlines". Will keep checking the Campaign Guide, maybe it's somewhere hidden.
Add this: - Same archetypes, better balanced. Wizard isn't garbage at level 1 and the Fighter isn't useless at level 20. - More suitable for heroic/epic campaigns. - More polished skillset. Come on, let's face it. In 3.5 there are several skills only meant for the Rogue to spend points on. And the Warrior barely knows how…
I'm going to check it in the Campaign/Player Guides anyways... That's the reliable source as it is what's written down for DMs. I swear that I thought I had this right. I can be wrong obviously, so I'll double-check. :P
Just because the game is called "Neverwinter" it does not need to imitate "Neverwinter Nights". That reasoning is flawed. Another thing is that it takes in account events of NwN (I believe there was a lore piece speaking about The Wailing Death? That was the NwN 1 campaign). I see where you're going, but frankly, this is…
One thing that could make the GWF more bearable at earlier levels is to give Unstoppable a Lifesteal or Regeneration buff. It rewards you for taking damage and allows you to recover a bit. Also, most of the gear you find during leveling is pretty bad. Hardly any Recovery item (and it's very important for the class).
Indeed you are right, at least from this source... Ugh, first time I've read. I was wondering why people were so zealous about this. Oh dear. More coffee it is.
What are you guys smoking? The Cleric is the most broken (aka OP) class of this game. She can out-tank everyone and she's virtually unkillable in PvP, only a CW can do something and it's basically pushing her away from her Astral Shield. Otherwise, she can just macro an "/emote laugh" and spam it while you try desperately…
But not you. It's called "a market". Someone doesn't want something and you give them something in exchange for their something. And you're both happy. There will be always someone willing to bring you that something because someone will have something that they value more than their something. Something being Zen,…
Considering that rank 1 is Wildstar and that game doesn't even have an Open Beta... I mean, how can you say it's the best game around if hardly there is anyone trying it?
Except that the "average player" isn't you and most of us didn't use this exploit because, you know, it's cheesy to use bugged game mechanics to your advantage and get items in a very short period of time otherwise impossible.
Lol... Crit fail in reading comprehension. Thanks for pointing that out, Gummibear2. Yes I believe that was what OP was asking for, need some more coffee.
There was a post around (not sure where it is) that claimed different numbers. WoW is indeed a good MMORPG, though I doubt that its the most sucessful, specially after WotLK. From what I've know, most people are turning towards the FtP market as few are willing to pay a forced suscription to experience the same thing after…
Vast experience? On what? Really, I think you're acting too self entitled, at least for what you think it's valid or not. And if you're going to start a WoW comparison, I'll tell you a couple of things: WoW isn't the most popular MMO, neither the most sucessful, or even the best. Heck, D&D isn't even the best kind of game…
I'm just pointing out the fallacy this person incurrs into pointing out that it's breaking the economy not being able of benefiting of an exploit. And it's actually very profitable if you save enough wards, you could get enough rank 6-7 enchantments to make substantial cash.
This game is labeled as an MMORPG, it isn't Neverwinter Nights 3. Stop making false assumptions and confusing people. There are currently ways to customize, though the options are limited. You can equip GWF with weapons that aren't Claymores (there are clubs, axes, etc... Most are either from drops or purchasable for AD).…
