Yeah I only remembered having it when I happened to mouse over the debuff icons on an enemy and saw faerie fire. I too was disappointed that it had no vfx since that's kind of the point of faerie fire, to light up an enemy with a purple aura.

Which would be accurate. Neverwinter the MMO is set at the same time as the 4e FR Campaign Guide and Neverwinter Campaign Setting books. the Neverwinter Campaign Setting book even mentions the MMO is set during the current time of FR. I'm sure D&D Next will eventually update FR to some point beyond the current time.

A friend is having a similar issue. I gave him my second nightmare and when he first equipped it it became bound and will equip to the 6 slot but when he tries to use it gets the "cannot user this power" message. His other mount (the guardian pack horse) does work fine.
