As far as I know same chat system in all their games and they'll never be fixed. Even players with the ability to mute will not be punished.

The boss is also abusable.. You can kill the boss, let the adds kill you, and the boss itself will respawn allowing you to spam farm his drops. Not that they're good but yeah..

This bosses moves.. The long cone one does some dmg while sucking people in.. The one where he creates a medium sized red circle around himself drains hp from you and heals him.. Incorrect. It's people who collectively as a group report an individual as spam. There they are marked for spam and muted for 24 hours. Same reason why you see the same chat spammers from time to time. It is people who know this who abuse it muting people in zone chat simply because they disagree with what the person said.

Besides it's really simple to fix this issue. Make sure you are leader, watch who rolls what when things come up. If you see someone ever roll a need on an item that isn't theres kick them immediately from the group before you roll. I havent tried this yet but in theory should remove their chance of the item.

They do it cause people take it. Look at PWI. Rank gear should of never happened it's completely ridiculous but people bought into it like wildfire. PWI has made them so much money and let PWE know they don't have to listen to others cause there's stupid ****s who will take their BS

^ like a boss. I completely agree. Good luck with all that too ya know I really hope things start changing. PWE is a business and they have tens of thousands of customers, even if they don't pay into the game. Still a customer. Customer's have rights and there are laws protecting our rights.

Fact. A guild of players could mute every single person who uses zone chat thus effectively making the game unplayable since no one can communicate. I'd have my guild do it, but chances are PWE would just ban us then go about their daily not giving a hoot while others abuse it to a smaller scale.
