I have to disagree with you here. Combat is super simplistic, boiling down to players mashing the same 3 buttons repeatedly, while strategy boils down to staying out of the red circles. There's very little synergy among classes, very little call for teamwork (or a player base willing or capable of it), little in the way of…
Relatively short, mostly because I'm trying to complete it within the hour to get the bonus XP. Don't usually like comedy, though sometimes it's done well. The truth is most of us are pretty nerdy and nerd+humor is usually an embarrassing, cringe-inducing, eye-rolling failure. So just don't try to be funny. No Monty Python…
These complaints always seem pointless to me. You must understand that PWE and Cryptic have employees whose job is pricing things. They do a ton of research. They run the numbers. They come up with a price that will earn them profits and make it worth it for them. They don't just pull a number out of the air. If it's too…
I agree that part of the problem isn't so much the DC as how other players view the DC. They assume you're a healer like most MMOs, and thus run around like idiots, standing in red circles, never drinking potions because, hey!, we've got a healer, he'll keep me alive. And yeah, totally ignore the 10 mobs surrounding you…
You can't target enemies or friends in this game as easily as you can in other MMOs. I'd say stop thinking about being a healer in more traditional MMOs. Clerics in Neverwinter or more about stacking heal over time, temporary health pools, defensive buffs -- all combined with AOE damage spells. I think you'll find few…
"Alacrity" means speed and I always seem to see this popping up over a mob's head when it dies to cold damage. Cold freezes and slows an enemy, so when it dies it is no longer slowed by the ice, thus "alacrity." Basically a bug though I could be wrong.
