This post tells me two things. A) You havent done any epic Tier 2 dungeons where DPS is king in getting many bosses such as the Spider Queen down. B) You dont play a CW, where there is a known bug to the power Sooth. Sooth is supposed to cut threat generated by healing by 30%. Its broken. There is a work around though.…

CW have a power called Sooth. It reduces their threat by 30%. Its currently broken. It has something to do with their equipped gear. No they dont. Just ran epic Idris again tonight during a Dungeon Delve around 11pm EST. All of my party had Dungeon Delve qualification on screen. None of us got anything out of chest.

Rokuthy, I just switched from the turtle build to this one. Have to admit Im worried about missing the instant-daily ability of Into The Fray. How fast are your dailies coming up with this build, since you say you arent using it?

Dont listen to him. Does GF have some issues? Yes. Could epic dungeon boss fight encounters be tweaked (decrease adds) to better appeal to traditional tanking? Yes. But despite his wild assertions that GF's are a liability there are obviously people making it work well for them.…

Stalwart gear comes off of Unicorn vendor in trade area. (Edited- NVM that a non-set bonus version) To my knowledge only the Tier 1 Knight, General and Valiant sets drop in instances. (edit- and I stand corrected the Stalwart Bulwark as well) And the final fourth Tier 1 Indomitable Set comes from the PVP glory vendor.

If you are at 8300+ GS running tier 2 dungeons you are at the leading edge of what people are doing, which means there are fewer people queuing for those dungeons. So yes, you are in all likelihood going to have a wait. Not exactly sure how you expect Cryptic to fix that. Join a guild?

Just respecc'ed to this build today. Will post and let you know how it goes. As a new level 60 guardian trying to do my first Tier 1 dungeons I was getting destroyed by adds and boss DPS, even with a gear score of 6300 (which I have been told isnt bad for a new lvl 60). Hopefully with this build things will go better.

People dont use wiki for class build guides. I had that happen tonight with the dragon dungeon. And I think some of that was griefing. Numerous times I got que'ed into dungeons that were empty and the party leaders would just hanging out by the entrance doing nothing, as if holding the instance open on purpose to screw with people.

YEAH! Great news and way to listen and respond to the community. Very good point! Once we get up to ten or so classes all those class restricted items is going to make finding gear for yourself tough work. But it would increase trading and party cooperation!

Agreed. And dont work well against groups. And bosses are immune to all of them turning the CW into nothing more than a ranged DPS'er.
