I started D&D in 1984. I spent more years than I should mention DM'ing a D&D campaign. I preferred Frank Mentzer's D&D to the AD&D that was far more popular. There's not many PnP games I didn't try, but original D&D is one of a small selection you can count on one hand and not use all the fingers that was played for many…
It's true on-one here can help. But it's also NOT true that people who get hacked are at fault. It happened to me between 23/12 and 24/12. I have NEVER given my password out to ANYONE, do not use any shady sites, never download cheats or mods (not even for games like Skyrim), and have up to date anti-virus and…
No, you're not wrong. I was done over also, between 23rd and 24th. No useful help from customer service. I never gave out my p/w to anyone, and my PC is well protected against malware and viruses. Haven't spent a bean since.
Disagree with the OP and resent the assumption that everyone PvPs or needs to, to prove how great their character is. Overall the game as improved, but I 'play much less' for other reasons. New refinement system and poor customer support.
Not signed. The OP is trying to speak for others to make their wheel squeakier. The OP and similar does not speak for me and PvP is not endgame for me. I would not be upset if the PvP focus was reduced, not increased.
I have been hacked also, when I was offline, between yesterday and today. Never gave my password out to anyone, password was strong with multiple cases and numerals. Submit a support ticket, is all you can do. Me? If I don't get stuff back, I'll be quitting. Either, theft is rampant in NW and enforcement is weak. Or PW are…
The "State of the Game" is, in my book, poor. The enchantment system took a step forwards with refinement, but the way it ends up seeming to cost more with these ridiculous 'Marks of Power' etc, is two steps back. I also hate the way out intelligence is insulted by "we decided to remove the AD cost of refinement". Thanks…
Either items cheaper (maybe won't happen or the people who already paid full price will complain) or even gets extended. Either would work for me. But otherwise, yeah, it's too exclusive.
For the most part I agree with everything here. As it happens, I spent all the AD I had to level the Ghost Knight up to 30. Was it 'worth' it? In terms of AD value? Not really. But I like it, and it can tank Mad Dragon. I have not spent AD on any other companion levelling.
I've revised my assessment of the Winter Festival. I have only a couple problems with it now:- 1) I would like it to run a lot longer perhaps all the way until the last calender day of Winter. This is a blatant plead. As addicted as I am to computer games, they don't take priority at certain times. First week of December…
I don't see why it isn't allowed (to be discussed at least). Didn't know it wasn't. Just to shut me up, in this thread at least, is there a T&C that explicitly prohibits discussing the value of an in-game item?
I bought a feywild starter pack, one time bunch of Zen, and may best Companions are a flamey bird and a purple ghost knight (too expensive to upgrade, but he tanks Mad Dragon happily). So, I don't have a HotN panther, but I don't think it's unfair if a $200 (or chunk thereof) panther is slightly better than a panther that…
Also, why is the basic mechanic of joining a dungeon or skirmish still not reliable? I'm tired of joining something only to appear in an empty already done "arena".
Did you have to say that with so much condescension? Would it really hurt so much for a small proportion of the downtime to be Euro friendly, just for the sake of being nice? *shake head*
We Europeans rarely do. I used to play the Asheron's Call MMO. A lot. 99% of everything was planned around the all important North American USA market. I do dislike being treated like a second class gamer, but there is nothing (other than resources) stopping a European publisher managing something pro-Euro. Or moving to…
I personally am less fussed by all this balance bruhaha and have no problems with Dev's making Wizards so offensively powerful. 1) I am an old school RPGer and quite like a class that is hard to level and gets payoff later, if that's your thing. 1a) CWs might warrant progression tweaking. 2) My main is a DC, so I have no…
Basically, that. The mechanic is good, but the 'pricing' and availability/cost of MoP's is ridiculous. I haven't quit or anything, yet, because the game costs as little as I want it to. But I used to play 1-4 hours a day, and spend on average a fiver per month because I thought that was the very least it was potentially…
Nope, I think your closer to the mark than the OP. To me, the OP comes across as a more-more-more 'stuff' powergamer rather than the all-rounders I usually get along with better. Still, they're not asking for anything indecent, so no problem there. Personally, I'd like to see Official Polls. Anywhere between once a month…
