@Gillrmn, This is just a personal response to say thank you for your manuals and for Shards of Selune. Your work gave me a great deal of pleasure and I'm sorry to see it go.
I love this game. The quests, story and foundry are great. What concerns me is a) Lack of inventory space. b) The amount of gold needed to buy healing pots for a high level character compared to the drop rate of the gold. c) Non disposable lock boxes (pet peeve contributes to a). a) is solvable by purchasing banking slots…
Look like it's intended see http://nw-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?147201-Lock-boxes . I'm submitting it as a bug, cause like you I find it annoying.
Hmm, if lock boxes can't be discarded then that is bad. I understand that they are here to stay, I understand that some people like them. However I find them to be annoying, so I'd rather have the choice to not to have them in my inventory. I understand that they are selling at the moment, but what happens when they don't…
Discovered the joy of the dwarven Guardian Fighter class this BW4 beta and more fun playing that character I expected I ever would. Very, very excited and looking forward to Open Beta.
Back when 4th edition was first released some players complained that there was no choice in that game either because WOTC provided some default builds for the classes. Over time this perception changed, and more splat books came out with more classes, powers, etc, so that the player is spoiled for choice. I see NWO as…
Actually the music was one of the things I loved about Neverwinter and wasn't so impresed with in STO. So just goes to show that personal taste comes into play with most things. I would be saddened if they changed the music and would love to pick up the soundtrack if possible.
My only concern is leveling speed. The last thing I want to happen with this game is that everyone hits max level in a few days and there is lack of end game content to keep things interesting.
First up, for those who read my OP, I'm sorry, I shouldn't haven't posted whilst irritated... hopefully my edited post is less flammable. I'm willing to give Cryptic the benefit of the doubt when it comes to them being genuine about receiving feedback. I believe they want to create a fun, enjoyable, fast paced, free to…
After playing the beta weekend I purchased the Hero of the North founders pack for me. I think this game has a lot of potential and I'm looking forward to playing more of it in the future.
Looking over my previous post I'm concerned it may have come across as STO bashing, which is not my intent. Cryptic have made a lot of improvements to STO over time, and I've had a lot of fun playing it. I'll stop rambling about STO now. I guess I'm hoping that Cryptic will make Neverwinter a game worth investing my time…
Ok, I'm taking the OP at their word that this is not a rant and I'll provide my own feedback here as STO lifetime subscriber from way back yonder. What follows is my own opinion and impressions! I am a Star Trek nut. I love Trek, so the ability to play in that universe was like a dream come true. However over time that…
