@"jaime4312#3760" Marginally buff temptation? It would allow temptation to slot 10 more feat points into its own tree, and if they rework it nicely that can be a huge buff. And temptation should be the supporter type tree. My point with fury is that they should make the higher tier feats strong enough that the selfbuffs…
@"jaime4312#3760" Well, it would be far from a major hit for fury, and I assume you did not read my entire post as I said it would hurt damnation. The thing is that if you have paid any attention to reworks in this game you should know there is a time limit. Easy fixes that can give major impacts are needed. You cry for…
I agree to the earlier mentioned change of feats. Swap "Power of the Nine Hells" (damnation) with the "Hellish Condemnation" (temptation). Pros: The temptation warlock is 100% going to have to take the Power of the Nine Hells feat to be a proper buffer, hence having it in the Temptation tree makes it so a templock can…
Their release dates on fixes are a bit, vague, and meh. They said some fixes came for mod 12b, which seemed like 1 patch note for SW for SB, some fixes to come a little later than mod 12b and some for mod 13. As of the reworks from the SW thread they just started will be launched in mod 13, no clue when that is. The not…
There are however some benefits of not being counted for as healer on Temptation as well as some of my guildmates pointed out. In the new random que system the group requirements are set to 1 healer, so if they (and I) are correct no more double DC in the random que, while Temptation SW would fit as an extra utility…
Btw, interesting little treat here (though a little wait to get it). The devs made a thread about the SW class and improvements that will come in mod 13. Would be nice to get the rework earlier, but that is the date they have set till now at least.…
Btw, also mentioned this in the october bugfix thread, but Temptation SW is not counted for as healer in que. This resulting in not recieving extra rewards from random que healer bonus. When queuing alone for a group you also do not fill in any healer spot if needed, but have to wait for a free dps spot.
The changes for TC, etc. are not live yet. TC still has lower damage vs single target, and most fixes coming are not released. Only the owlbear cub nerf
The new random que system rewards players with extra bonuses for playing a certain type class (healer or tank). Temptation Scourge Warlock is not counted as healer in que, and it does not recieve any bonuses based on this. It has maybe some of the strongest heals in game, and should be counted as a healer. Please add a…
@schietindebux OBC is not an extra 50% damage to the ticks of PoP, it is an additional hit for 50% of you power, which with buffs can be 50k+ (at power levels of 100k-130k ish).
There are some sticking to the class because they like the playstyle and invested in it, there are those who unknowingly started playing the game happily as a SW with no clue what unbalanced mess they are to meet, and those who are waiting for the final push to make them leave the game :)
So activating Tyrannical Curse on single target as Soulbinder might not actually be good then, if the curse consume synergy is not working with Tyrannical Curse.
I just have to point out the double standards in this statement. WMS is activated by 1 press of a button, it ends up being two ticks of damage (against 1 enemy). Dreadtheft, Pillar of Power, and all other entity/channeling powers also are activated by 1 press, followed up by an x amount of ticks. You say that with WMS it…
Am running Aboleth myself and probably considered third in the rank with Relic and SH weapons on top 1 and 2. Not sure which of those are the best overall, but I believe SH weapons are BiS if the entire group got them. Aboleth aren't far behind I would guess, and the visual bug they are creating now (sometimes) will be…
@bloodyspamer Well, the buffs I am speaking of are several, but some things to notice: Pillar of power being able to crit leads to: - Proccing Lesser curses from pillar -> the attacks by the actual damage dealing powers in AoE situations will proc creeping death, which for example the first AoE would not as it would only…
This would not penalize old time players at all, they would have their godlike stats as usual. And yeah I am an old time player :) This simply would give new time players a little edge (still far weaker than old timers) and maybe help them a bit into the game. For this game to be great and survive you don't want to focus…
ha.. ha.. ha.. It is not given the fact that people think they deal less damage. It all in all ends up to each individual playstyle. Current meta has 2/5 playing DC, 2/5 as a tank type class (OP/GF) and last 1 person in dps role. For this setup to work nicely the game population would have to consist of about 20% DPS…
Last I've heard the debuff and utility from Wraith's Shadow does not even work. It now can truly spawn a puppet and deal minor damage, but not much more unless they ninja fixed the debuff.
@"jaime4312#3760" The comment about PoP was sort of response to this. As I would not say the damage is so insane as there would be max one more dps benefitting from the buff in the current meta (3xSuppoer + 1xDps + 1xDps/Support).
Sure, mine is just an idea. However Pillar of Power should at least be able to crit, mostly for proccing things that rely on crits. Especially as SW is a crit heavy class (most of the times) and essential feats rely on crits procs (ACC -> Lesser Curse - > Creeping Death). Anyways the total damage PoP wouldn't be so insane…
@tyrtallow Well now as I stated earlier this is an attempt to come with quick changes that would benefit the warlock and not be time consuming, as I stated they do not prioritize these balances and spend close to no time on it it seems, so ofc I have big ideas around how it could be, and myself also was thinking of making…
Problem is more all the changes they haven't made, like class balancing, bug fixes from launch, balancing role system etc. New armor, enchants, stuff like that are just smaller and easy updates from their side to hide the part where bugs and other important things remain untouched. If you are lucky enough to play a class…
