I've heard about the Foundry, but as of yet I haven't researched it in-depth. From what I read around the forums, it's not even available in Beta yet, so I haven't been too concerned. I'm a bit saddened that there are no paladins starting out, so I'll have to suffice with a Guardian Fighter for now. I have hope for the future, though! I think it would be great to see a Bard class done, especially if done well. I could see a Bard being a Controller class, easily. Or perhaps Psionicist.
