As far as i remember from playing last night, the events were due to finish at 6pm UK (my) time, on the event timer. So why not end the events to coincide with the beginning of the scheduled down time. If i had of seen that the events end at 3pm (my time) on the event ending timer, i would of finished up my stuff…

Indeed, i see that now, but why not wait a few more hours til these big events expire. Unreal.

Great, right at the end of the double refinement/enchantment/Protectors Jubilee. i have lots of renown to spend and refinement to do, now i cant do it before event ends after getting home from work and finding this.
