mux make sure your sound and video drivers are up to date. After the drivers...when on the login screen select options from the top right and select Force Verify and let it update. Hope this helps.

Everytime there is a new patch I cant play my main character. I have to make a new character and get them past the 'intro' sequence and into the City, log out and then I can play my main. This is after crashing a bunch of times and force patching the game. If I don't make a new character and run them for a while I can't…

also the server is down right now, so wait until youi try what i suggested ;-)

bunk make sure all your drivers are up to date, reinstall the game and try again. Also try a dns flush after the reinstall.

actualy I kind of like the fact that I can see the status right at the top of the forums, but yeah sux the servers down.

I had the same problem until I updated my drivers and reinstalled the game. I haven't had any trouble since. Well I did when I noticed Steam was running in the background, rebooted and gtg.

Looking at my clientservercomm log I keep seeing socket was shutdown due to error 0, no error. Not sure if anyone else is seeing this...
