The title of the quest shouldn't have a period. There is a typo in one of the early conversations... I think it was the word "tricked", but could have been a misunderstood joke. I gave you a good review - very nice attention to detail and a fine sense of humor without spoiling the feel of adventure.
Move your spawn point to solid ground. While players will tend not to get stuck on their first trip into a zone, the engine does a bad job of placing the character on return visits if they exit/reenter. Note: I'm totally stuck here... can't move.
Thanks for the comments. I've always felt like the Forgotten Realms had a strange sense of geography and population distributions. The problem is that the Sword Coast North area existed as a "fronteer" for a thousand years. The settlements in the north west were too few and far between to support the size of the cities…
Thanks for the input. I think I'll try to do make it work as part of Port Llast. Tonight I started a 2nd zone, which would be the dock area and I think I can make the above work as the east ward.

OOP: I'm not sure that I understand what you mean? Are you just looking for NPCs in general or do you envision these characters to be actual adventure creators in some way, like the "DM" character in that aweful D&D cartoon?
There is a simple solution: Guilds. The solution to bad community is smaller, tight knit units able to self police via membership. Find people of like mind and play with them. Don't PUG, and you will not feel the disappointment that they cause.
