  • This is a nearsighted view of the issues. The problem is that trash doesn't offer enough for it to feel worthwhile (or for people to not push things off). Other games, you can generally make enough from the trash's gold to afford repair bills. Obviously we don't have repair bills in this game, so in lieu of that we have…
  • To clarify, I'm pretty sure this person is referring to the portion where enemies are unaffected by pushes, not the rest of the fight. (an added bonus is a GWF is good for grabbing new spawns and bringing them to the ledge before the TR aggroes them).
  • Yes, everyone who isn't you is the minority. Don't pretend to speak for the majority, it's asinine.
  • Yes, and they're crappy in all respects (gold from selling, AD for auctioning). The fact is, trash mobs in this game are even more deserving of the name than other MMOs. You don't find id scrolls anymore so greens are out of the picture, people just shoot for tenebrous for the majority of their offense slots so the…
  • So what about items for an alt? Should that not be considered a need?
  • The drops of this game's "trash mobs" trivializes the encounters in the first place. People don't receive ID scrolls anymore, and the only things that drop are rank 4 enchants, pots and greens. So with one trivialized from the get-go and the other two being mildly useful, what reason do people have to kill trash mobs other…
  • This is why I'll always loathe Mount Hotenow. XD
  • It really feels like an attempt to enforce a 2 CW meta instead, in all honesty. If you can't have uptime of your shield/healing ability constantly, then the alternative is to constantly have control of the ludicrous number of mobs.
  • It's hard to take a "look on the bright side" comment seriously when it would either A) never happen or B) Completely break the game.

  • So we receive significant nerfs *and* no compensation to make us able to survive. Sure, we won't receive *as much* aggro as before, but I highly doubt that we're in the clear. Shaving 20%, or even 10% off of the debuff would be significant enough to compensate (though I definitely think we shouldn't have the debuff for…

  • For a soft launch, Neverwinter is in a great state and I couldn't be happier. Many of the "game-breaking bugs" that people compare to error 37 are fixable by quickly logging in and out, and while certain things need to be added sooner (the upgrade tomes for companions,) things are going at a decent pacing for now.
