  • It may not be hard to get 10 simple leather to upgrade a rank 1 to a rank 2 but how many are needed to get a rank 1 to rank 7? According to the person who gave the simple leather quote, it was 26.6k. I did not bother to verify it but if somebody knows how many ores, leathers, etc are needed to craft a rank 7 Doohickey…
  • Does the blueprint only give 1.8k refinement points each but not come with the resource reagents? You need both RP (which you can either buy the blueprint or farm grommets) AND the reagents (e.g. simple leather) to upgrade the grommets and such. Correct me if I am wrong... You don't turn 550k worth of Blueprint into 1.45+…
  • Simple leather sells for more than 200 each from the AH and there are only 3k-ish available. Assuming your calculation is correct, it takes 26,000 x 200 = 5.2 million AD just to get a rank 6 event item to rank 7 Doohickey. However, the cheapest Doohickey goes for 1.475 million AD in the AH. Obviously, it makes no sense to…
  • Is there a list of resources needed to upgrade the little event thing dropped by the mobs from rank 1 to rank 7 we can look at ?
  • I think the better ways to kill many birds with one stone is to have little mobs and mini-bosses in the epic dungeons drop valuable items such as skill recipes and rare cosmetic pets with limited stats. New recipes for set gear can make professions more enjoyable. Cosmetic pets makes nice fluffy companions for those who…
  • Gauntlgrym is live. You have more daily tasks to get AD now.
  • I don't think they are looking to make money by getting players to join guilds. It is more like a way to encourage socialization.
  • They do. Players don't find many of them because they use the exploits to get passed most of the mobs... or bump them down the cliff.
  • The easiest way to please both sides of the more hardcore guild-oriented players and the more causal/solo mined players is to have 2 leaderless/ruleless freshmen guilds each aligned to one of the two factions required to enter Gauntlgyrm. There is no leadership in the guild and no requirement to join or leave. Players only…
  • When Gauntlgyrm opens they will be a lot more Daily AD flowing into the system. Also, don't discount that 2% AH listing fee. Suppose some greedy merchants trying to list a piece of CN gear for 6 million AD, the chance is he will learn his lesson by losing a hefty 120k AD 5 days later since he will highly likely be undercut…
  • I mean the players who leave a tower currently under contested to a already won but not yet fully "captured" one. I have to add that TR are the ones particularly using this point imbalance to gain more points since they can sneak out of a battle, get on their horse, and run to an easy 300 points. Personally I don't think…
  • 1 capture = 6 kills = 12 assists. That's why you see many players leave their mates to death in the middle of a fight as soon as they see a tower in sight is about to be captured. Points for capturing should be significantly tuned down.
  • T2 gear wasn't 20k a piece a couple of weeks ago. Just wait a couple more weeks you will see the price of CN gear plummeted like T2. More players are reaching level 60 by the day. More players are getting experienced in running CN. More CN pieces will be produced just like T2 and T1 and they would not be any easier to be…
  • First, don't worry about the grind will bore players out in a few months. The grind in the 8 year old Perfect World Online is much worse but the game is still going and going and going... Want more examples of long lasting strictly cash shop supported heavy grinding games? What about Conquer and MapleStory? Both of them…
  • @kimmurieloblodra: I called you a r-tard because you called those who play WoW next-gen r-tard, not because you don't play WoW. In fact, I stopped playing WoW more than 6 months ago but I am not a r-tard because I don't call those who still play it r-tard. If you call people names do expect they will do the same to you.…
  • LOL. There you go! Whiners always whine whenever they see the word microtransaction, even if they don't know what the products they are whining about and how the cash shop thing is being implemented into these games. WoW and other Blizzard game players just feel like such f2p attempt will inevitably lead WoW and other…
  • No. But this is not a reason to whine about the zen store. It should be a question directed to customer support if you have such a problem.
  • You are the no-no rather. HoW is not a sequel or offspring of WoW. It is the first ever cash shop based, no subscription MMORTS produced by Blizzard.
  • Any time you find a cash shop in an multiplayer online game you find these whiners. Since every online game nowadays has a cash shop attached you always find whiners in every game you go to but fortunately you only find them in the forums. Yes, they whine but their wallets don't. According to the last Playspan survery,…
