That no one uses in most dungeons because why dps what you can just knock off a cliff? If you give players multiple ways to do something, they will always chose the easiest way. A group COULD run CN with 3 GWF, 1 DC, 1 Rouge, but it'll never happen because it's too difficult. It's bad game design all around. Bad mob…
Sorry I never post here but I had to just because the sheer amount of stupidity in this thread is staggering. I'm honestly not sure if its the players of Cryptic's fault at this point. Let me put it this way: Cryptic created two classes. One that specializes in knocking mobs off cliffs (CW) One that specializes in doing…
Welcome to a game made by Perfect World. Where classes are unbalanced, basic game functionality doesn't work, the game crashes, and there's a new exploit every week, but here have a new spider companion.
Games get pushed back yes but not MMO's, especially not f2p MMO's. A normal boxed game has to be bug free (mostly) and ready before being released, as all sales are made through buying the game itself at a one time cost. f2p MMO's however gain revenue through it's shop, which some people will still use no matter what state…
Either way you gotta admit, the amount of bugs and glitches is staggering, most of which are obvious things. Some glitches arise out of nowhere, and those are the kind you expect to see in an open beta, not obvious things like class feats not working and obvious graphical issues. Those used to be fixed before a game even…
For one, this is no open beta. You can't have a open beta with bugs and charge money. And do you realize, they are profiting from this bug? If they don't fix it for free, the only way to fix it is with a respec token. So let me spell this out for you. Due to a bug in the developer's own game, you are FORCED to BUY a respec…
But that is the point of a beta test. You are supposed to find bugs, abuse them, then report them to be fixed. Lots of MMO's do this now, they release "open beta" with the promise of no more wipes. The problem with that idea is that you better be sure that the game is in good enough shape that there are no game breaking…
Doesnt matter to me. Nice to know the site has it's share of bugs too though. IMO the second they went into open beta with the promise of "no more wipes" means the game should be in a stable enough condition that huge exploits like this don't happen. Especially if they're taking people's money. I realize that some things…
FF14 failed due to simply bland combat and no content. No real gamebreaking exploits or glitches really, FF14 just got boring. (except maybe the using enhancing magic to level exploit in the beginning, but that was quickly dealt with). NW is worse IMO. Much worse.
It's not beta. But lets say it is. Even so there are issues that shouldn't have gotten out of alpha stage. Are you aware there is basic functionality missing? Even before the AH exploit the search didn't work correctly AND this exploit has happened before on PW's other MMO STO, and they either didn't think or care to check…
If you haven't noticed, there are more issues with this game than pixels. The game hasn't even been out for a month now and there have already been 3 game breaking exploits, glitched bosses, glitched class feats, etc. No self respecting MMO company would have let this game go past alpha like this. An Open beta is supposed…
