You can also use those bound epic drops and salvage them for rough astral, and then buy level 60 rare weapons from the tradehouse for cheap and use them to upgrade your weapon. They go into draconic gear ONLY(at least from what I know), and they go into the overload slot(Lasting 1-2 hours) Basically buffing up your weapon for a short period of time.
