Sorry I didn't post a like in my initial message. I think all in all it's a good thing. If nothing else I have plenty of 4th artifacts sitting in storage that I can level up some prior to Mod 6.
Likely this is just a fallout of them getting the certificate situation straightened out. Sometimes (if it's done correctly/on time/say before the certificate(s) expire) it's not an issue. Who knows what all they are having to do/undo now...
If the RP items remain unbound, it'll be a good thing. It will make leveling up equipment far more palatable. My AD's on them becoming bound to account prior to the mod hitting live. Otherwise, I'm still wait and see on how this all plays out.
Unfortunately that math doesn't work. If they were to put them on the Zen store, it would be for 200z which would equal 100,000 AD. Otherwise, folks would just bypass the AD merchant and buy the Zen with AD.
I'm hopeful that they may add something to Leadership that may address the RP situation. That said, I honestly could live with there simply being QOL improvements to the Refining interface.
I've been through this cryptic process too many times to count - going back to City of Heroes beginnings. That said, even by Cryptic standards this is pushing it out in a hurry.
I'm curious how the Refining Interface/Process is going to translate to the console experience. I'm curious if the Console group is going to be cool with the process/time involved.
Personally I couldn't disagree with you more. Options are good. Until they (the devs) can demonstrate that they are adding a new potential AD income stream for legit players, I don't want to see any options removed.
My only push back would be that it would be something new for botters/spammers to latch on to. Right now gold isn't a concern because it has minimal value. The more value you give it, the more reason for the third party sellers to offer it.
Disappointed that we've gotten no real feedback, but not wholly unexpected. Likely they aren't commenting since they have nothing to offer. Either nothing will change (most likely scenario) or the change has too much work to be discussed. Here's to hoping it's the latter.
That's really strange the. They had them on sale just last May and it's still clearly listed. I'd (seriously) put in a ticket if I were you. http://www.arcgames.com/en/games/neverwinter/news/detail/3035983-hero-of-the-north-pack-sale
Will there be any consideration to improving the mechanics of the refinement process and/or improving the rate that artifacts and artifact gear can be increased?
Fully, wholly, totally support lew and zergs proposals. Well thought out, intelligent and fair. For the players and the developers. That said, not a chance in the world that it happens. New artifact and enchantment levels announced without a peep about any changes to the system. Folks, this has been an ongoing issue for a…
