I dont have a lot to contribute other then the obvious and a bit of encouragement. I think you are on the right track with suspecting a driver issue or a settings issue and not one with the game specifically. It actually looks like a direct3d issue to me but I have no real basis for that other then similar looking errors…

NB. what Im saying is not 100% accurate but close enough to explain things. This game keeps alot of data compressed and decompresses it when you need it. Enjoyed the quest but found a bug. After the quest was done and the final chest looted my party could not leave the tavern of dread. The exit door would not trigger and we had to exit the are via other means (log off). Aside from looting the last chest the only other thing we did was talk to everyone in the bar again…
