  • Additionally, the battle log (output of all damage being dealt in the area) needs to stop clobbering the main chat - If you've ever noticed how the chat scrolls offscreen almost immediately during a dragon battle, for instance, it's because of that log affecting social chat.
  • It wouldn't be so bad if the loot didn't completely explode out from the defeated mob. It's funny the first time, then just a headache.
  • Until B and C are fixed, I'll always put up auction-only posts when it's prudent.
  • With rogues being able to go invisible in the middle of an active fight (a very brain-dead game design decision), you cannot place any blame on the receiving player for 'not being able to dodge'. OP may be 'butthurt', but he's not wrong - Neverwinter's PvP is a half-baked, extremely broken abomination of poor design…
  • Yep, I received mine, as well. I'm still not sure where/how I heard it.. apologies for alarming anyone.
  • So has anyone personally Retrained with extra Power Points and received all of them back?
  • It's my understanding that it's already three votes (including the initiator, who is obviously an automatic yes) required to kick. If you mean all four people need to vote, that would make things a lot more difficult, as you might only have four people in your group.
  • Which 'shards' are you speaking of? Dragon Sigils? And which dailies? One should be given from the Harper's 'Common Cause' instanced task (e.g. Mines in Icespire, Forges in Rothe), as well as for each of the two dailies (the zone dragon and whichever other task) in both Rothe Valley and Whispering Caverns, for a total of 5…
  • Where exactly were you expecting it to go? "Hey I Need on everything because I'm more important than you. You should clearly think like me." -- That was the exact polar opposite of what my thread was about. I don't see how you expected to change that - your rationalization only works from a self-centered point of view, and…
  • "[No], that's just... like...your opinion, man." But since you want me to provide facts, here's one - You're wrong and you will always be wrong. The center-of-the-universe mentality is on its way out in society. It just can't get here fast enough. Being a toolbag may help you in the short term, but people will start to get…
  • You cannot set loot options when using the instance Queues, which are the only way to get into Epic dungeons and Campaign instances like Shores of Tuern or Lair of Lostmauth.
  • I don't understand. If I do an appreciable amount of damage - whether or not I started the fight - I get 'credit' for the kill in quest counters, along with occasional drops. Were they mad that they only got one hit in? How is that your fault? I think we're missing context to this story, but maybe the person you're talking…
  • I knew this short-sighted response was coming ... I just didn't think it'd take 5 pages to get there. (That's somewhat a compliment to the community, I guess) So the flaw in your self-centered opinion is that common etiquette stands to benefit everyone. Yes, that includes me, but it equally applies to other people. Your…
  • Yes. Both Whispering and Rothe give Sigils for completing their non-CC dailies.
  • I'm really confused by the direction of this thread. Nobody was even talking about Common Cause. The 'dragon zones' (Neverdeath, Ebon Downs, Icespire, Rothe Valley, Whispering Caverns) all have separate dailies in addition to Common Cause.. that's what the OP seemed to be discussing. Well, if your CC daily takes you to…
  • You should be going to Whispering Caverns, too, if you've advanced far enough in the Campaign. They also give sigils for their dailies.
  • Well to be correct, it's 100/300 (at least for artifact weapons (and double that if the items are also weapons); I don't know about belts). The crux of the issue isn't so much the items themselves, and many of the replies have caused the thread to lose that focus. The actual issue is the 'center-of-the-universe' mentality.…
  • Again, I am not worried about Purples; I'm in full agreement that you should obtain them by any means. In a group, lower-quality items, being lower-quality, should not be monopolized by self-centered toolbags. Period. You have no valid argument. The only thing you should be doing is agree to change your outlook and habits…
  • You are part of the problem. At level 60, everyone should have equal chance to roll on blues. If you want everything, there are solo venues available to you.
  • Epics have already been discussed. See first post. This is about everything else.
  • Fixed your statement, but otherwise agreed.
  • A lot of selfish people here. Really sad. I'm not saying I'm naive enough to believe that Neverwinter players were better people, but I had at least hoped for more positive responses beyond just a couple. "Wahh my profit". We're talking about blues. Seriously? Because you're part of a group; a team, where everyone is…
  • Be a catalyst for change. If you adopt the thoughts of this thread, and lead by example, then you'll have an easier time encouraging the people you speak of to do the same.
  • A) I generally get more money on auction-style listings, because people don't like to lose. In the case of multiple bidders, you'll almost always get 'snipe' bids towards the very end of an auction. B) The list sorting is set to buyout amount. Auction-only listings always show up first. By showing up on the first page,…
  • What a terrible argument. Whether you'll see them again or not is wholly irrelevant to common courtesy. In fact, your entire post essentially boils down to "screw other people over because they might screw you over". The entire point of this thread is to highlight a common issue in the hopes that people will stop having…
  • I mean... you could use a Preservation Ward, if you're a HAMSTER. :) Having only a 1% chance would burn through quite a bit of PWs before hitting.
  • It will also clear more quickly if the group lead is passed to someone else. This is better when you're in a pre-formed group, or at least have good communication with your other members.
  • The 'https' and 'www' parts are incorrect, but youtu.be is YouTube's URL shortener. It directly maps to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ETR_raQNW9k
  • This is a known issue, and there are multiple threads outlining it. Further, they should also work on allowing customized sorting.
  • Well, both of my characters are in PE. I'm able to log in with my Level 5, but the 60 cannot. I don't think it's instance servers alone. I am curious about something, though - for those who can log in, is it only your alts that can, or are your first-created characters (at any level) working fine?
