Here's an idea. Get 5 devs to create 5 (one of each class) level 60 character ... have three drop out after the PVP battle begins and the other two just stay in the spawn point. You will be able to WATCH how the other team jumps up into your spawn point and address the issue.
I vote Centaur... +2 Con and either +2 Str or +2 Wis ... with movement bonuses that go up as you level. 1-20 no effect, 21-30 out of combat like cheap horses, 31-49 like expensive horse, 50-59 between expensive (gold) mount and epic, 60 epic. OR to keep that from getting ruinous for non-centaurs, instead of changing…
While I'm not sure it would work in PVP (I can just see the average or below-average person looking at the score and quitting instantly), I would LOVE to see that in dungeons!
The times I've had the worst rubberbanding was when I had crashed... AND THE PERFECT WORLD CRASH REPORTER was running. It has more to do with the number of packets your system is trying to send to Perfect World's system ... That one kick disconnected the ENTIRE COMPANY from the intranet and the internet for about six hours... A couple days later the…
One very simple solution brings itself to my mind. An increasing cooldown for messages in /zone. Message 1 CD: 0.0 second delay Message 2 (first repeat): 0.5 second delay Message 3 (2nd): 1.0 second delay (etc)
Try contacting Star Wars: The Old Republic Customer Support. Their phone hold times are legendary (I've heard of over 3 hours), and many questions WILL not be resolved or even acknowledged via in-game tickets or forums, and you MUST call them... only to be given stock answers the first 2-3 times you call. While this game…
