This has been happening to me in the game, and on the gateway. If you cancel the one task that seems to be blocking it up, or finish it with astral diamonds, then that usually fixes it so you can do all the normal things you want to do again. I'm pretty certain it's a bug... and a very annoying one at that.

The real story goes like this: People used the browser version of the AH to bid on items with negative amount of AD. We're talking like -333333333. They would then not only WIN the item, but ALSO get THAT amount of AD too. So it was a HUGE exploit. Massive amounts of AD have been released into the economy. Hence the jokes…
