Started patching Neverwinter after half a year of hiatus, saw the "Neverwinter Class Balance" announcement, including rogue, got excited, clicked on and eventually got lead to this thread. Guess I'll see people around in about another 6 months.. Hah!

I think there's also one thing that needs to be mentioned, is that, during the duration of LA, you don't receive any Action point from any sources except for the bonus effects of Flail Snail, DC's sigil and the Burning artifact weapon set, while during WW (or even CB), you still receive full AP from the 3 mentioned above…

it could be better on TR while clearing mobs with AOE rotation (including smoke bomb, dazing strike, blade flurry, or even wicked reminder), but not at all with single-target rotation, since rogue's massive single-target damage comes from atwill (at least with my rogue).

At this stage of the game there's another common thing that determines how effectively a toon performs in pve, especially dps toon. It's called companion. But I guess you think companion is overrated, don't you? ;)

In addition for pve, you can try slotting tenacious concealment rank 4 and do a 10 times stealthed BF during LA's duration. I've tried and made it work....in the trade of blades, but not successfully during run due to lag/being hit by mobs etc... I've never used path of blades since the day I started playing rogue, simply because trash mobs usually die way before the duration end, and the casting animation makes me wanna start shouting at him :p

For trash mobs: Stealthed Smoke, WoB, Stealthed DS aoe, and a couple of WR/SF/BF swings (BF works best for me in VT so far, even if you dont crit it still does tons of aoe dmg) For boss/tanky mob: - DF, after the 5-7th swing, enter stealth to make the first tick of DF bleed a critical hit, every tick after that will be…

I used 100 preservation wards to upgrade my 2 artifacts from legendary to mythic, and it was 5% chance. So If I were you I would use coalescent ward for sure.

My TR once got 100k power due to buffs and casting WoB during a VT run with an ACDC and an OP(?), and that was without activating the Shadowborn feat. *Digging the old thread I have a question regarding this power. Does it only reduce the DR, or actually buff the incoming damage? I just did some testing with my guildie using target dummy and apparently it boosted the damage target received by about 22%. Note that she has over 60% RI already, but I don't think it matters…

I'm from SEA. I used to play this game 6 months ago. Now when I come back and it says that i may not log in from this IP address, which never happened before to me. So I have to use free vpn to patch, but the download rate is too slow. I'm not sure what should I be doing now, I want to play the game again so bad :(
