Yeah you probably need to uninstall and the redownload and reinstall the game. Either that or read and see the game is down for maintenance.

I'm a guardian and also logged in during off peak times. The first time my queue was 3000 and took me 20 mins to get in; the second time my queue was 15000 and I didn't get in at all in the 90 minutes I was in the queue before the server came down.

No I did see that. I also know someone who did managed to upgrade from Guardian to Hero

I'm pretty good at reading details and totally missed the queue jump part, or I really would have given more thought to shelling out even more. Now I'm considering trying to upgrade by paying the difference but they want the full $200 and not the difference. As if us Brits aren't getting ripped off enough by being forced…

there is a fix for that if you read the launcher thread.... you have to download a new neverwinter.exe from the link they provide. downloading the exe worked for me

I generally don't mind queues and expect them in the first week or so of any new MMO, but the queue needs to be set at logging in to character select and NOT after you've chosen your character.
