In fact I would like that, yes. I work for a software company and am responsible for releasing applications and maintaining them for customers. We would loose every drop of work when we would schedule downtime at office hours. Is it too much to atleast suggest planning the downtime at alternate times?

As far as I am concerned I believe the scheduling of the downtime has some room for improvement aswell. 2 hours of downtime at near primetime (CET). I suggest to plan the next downtimes a few hours earlier. I do agree with lewstelamon01 about the potential complexebility of a patch. In fact, usually patching is more…
