personally I think the game will loose a lot of players. If you don't wipe you loose the hardcore highspender players who put a lot of money into the game and will prolly keep doing so. If you do wipe, you loose the casual hoard, sure they might only put $10 on but there's a lot of em. It's loose loose for PW.

Indeed, essentially if enough players want a wipe, despite any promises to the contrary, they will do a wipe. What they need to do is poll everyone and get the full picture.

So the simple solution would be to send a mass poll. They already have all our email addresses (so they can spam us with random stuff). Send out an email asking for the communities input. Make the results publicly visible. (the other option would be using an automated system to poll ingame)

The reasoning behind no new server is due to the fact that all servers will be merged eventually. Plus I believe the AH is cross-server so that negates the benefit of a new server.

Just because thats the current decision doesn't mean people can't express their opinions. If enough people do then they change their decision.
