  • You can see people coming out of their shell in these kind of threads. The people who yell that premades should stay in solo queue are usually the ones that are in a premades themselves and like to get an easy wins. They don't want a challange, they just want to roflstomp the poor souls that are solo matched against them.…
  • Unless there would be hundreds of NPCs all having different models and textures appearing at the same time, I just don't see how loading a textures for a character would make a normal HDD stretch enough to make your FPS drop. And my uneducated guess would be that it would sooner bottleneck the CPU than make your HDD…
  • Some people hate to admit that SSDs are still just a hard drives. SSDs for gaming can impact performance in games like Skyrim or Fallout where you proceduraly load the world into the RAM from your hard drive. Other than that, SSDs wont do a thing for you except decreasing loading times considerably, at least not while…
  • http://www.cpu-world.com/Compare/582/Intel_Core_2_Duo_E8400_vs_Intel_Core_i7_i7-2600K.html And 2600k is 2011. Whopping 17% my ***. You have no idea what you are talking about, and continue to prove that with every post you make. People tried to help but you refuse to listen, so I can only hope Moderator comes around and…
  • Why on Earth do you take a screenshot to prove a graphical fidelity while in convo with NPC so everything else is blurred? Of course the character models are good. Every MMO has a good character models. That's the point of MMOs. Make a screenshot without the flipping blur all over the place, then you can talk.
  • Despite popular believe, swords and weapons were usually sheathed on the side of the using arm, unless they were too long to make it impossible. Especially if used together with shield, simply because drawing your sword from you left side of the hip, while holding a shield in your left arm, you can't very well cover…
  • Ikr? On my GF I just slotted the rest with utility powers. I have a leap so I can hold my LMB even more often, I have a mini stun so I can hold my LMB a bit safer and I have taunt just so noone can tell me I dont do my job as a tank. And my daily is a knock up with a stun, so my LMB feels even more safer. LMB for the win!
  • You should be pissed at yourself for buying top end GPU with subpar CPU and RAM. I run i7 2600k (way better than yours) and 560TI (way worse than yours) and 16gb DDR3 1666Mhz (way better than yours), and I dont dip below 30 in city, usually hover around 40. Your c2d is 5 years old. It doesn't even sell in the two biggest…
  • You do realize ping=latency=delay, right? Your 150ms ping is translated into 0.15s delay. For a game that wants you to dodge out of death zones or you'll take huge damage, that is pretty **** high.
  • They SEEM fine. Type /netgraph 1 in your chat once in game and tell your friends to do the same. 200+ms seem fine if you don't really pay attention, it's not like you're rubberbanding all over the place. Just that your blocks/dodges arent as responsive, you're getting hit even though you already had your shield up/dodged…
  • Your opinion of thousands of people playing without ping issues is just as useless as his. Your opinion is based on couple of people who say their ping is just fine, his opinion is based on hundreds of people in game + on forums complaining about the persistent lag. Which one is more valid? I live in one of the lucky…
  • Open beta has always been a launch for f2p MMOs. If you wanna throw around the argument "its BETA, get over it", then I expect a full wipe at the end followed by full release. If that doesn't happen, then it's not a proper beta. You can't have your cake and eat it too.
  • I don't really care about the problems, I'll just wait till tomorrow or later, but defending Cryptic? That has got to be a joke. It's not like they are a new company on the MMO scene. Bioware's Old Republic launch could have been excused. Blizzard's WoW launch could have been excused. But Cryptic? This is their fourth…
