Whenever you see a chance of success in this game (think refining, or gathering skill nodes when it was worth it to do so) divide it by 100. There seem to be times when they really do give you the listed chance. Sounds like you hit a good streak, and now it's back to normal.
What's wrong? Don't you need to fill your bags with character-bound green insignia worth 2 silver? Trash the nodes- completely. Forget the fact you can't get anything useful out of them anymore; they now have the absolute worst trait you can possible have in any RPG- they're no longer fun.

The quest Needless Distractions in Kaer-Konig requires a Heroic Encounter in either Icewind Pass or Dwarven Valley. About a week, 10 days ago, HE's in Dwarven Valley stopped fulfilling the requirement. Weird. How about fixing broken quests?

What I'd like to see is mount training available for the same number of Invocation Coins as a faster mount. The Medium horse (80% speed increase) goes for 270 Ardent Coins. Let people upgrade their level 1 mounts for the same price.
Not a bad choice at all. Honestly, there does not seem to be any market at all for most of the other crafting skills.
