Takes 20 hours to get to 60. Game has been in Open beta for over 3 weeks. The next big content patch has a 20v20 PVP zone. They have also stated many times that class balance is something that's a priority.
This isn't really a beta test. They just put the word Beta up there to excuse away major problems. Can we please accept this now and quit talking about it?
The same people that want you to believe that Beta tests are for anything other than testing wrote that Wikipedia article. Wikipedia is not an authority on anything. It is just the collective brain sludge of society with factoids mingled in.
Released content and features should be free of major exploits/bugs in a live product. I understand that MMO's are organic and constantly evolving. That is exactly why real and not fake "beta" tests are so important. This is a fake "beta" test. All of my tickets have been closed due to volume and not resolved. That doesn't…
The premise of your logic is deeply flawed. Things are either complete or they are not complete. If you sell a product or service, it should no longer be in a development cycle. This product is incomplete. Correct functionality of fundamental systems does not exist. It is being sold regardless. Do not go back to the…
There's nothing to refute. You just said that people are buying a make-believe currency for a virtual world and the functionality of that world is unimportant to the value of the virtual currency. What should I refute in that statement that isn't obvious? Did you even read what you typed? Did it make sense to you?
This company is very good at manipulating the player base. I'm a grown man, probably older than alot of the posters on here. The OP isn't that far off base. These guys know how to appease the idiots. - Tell people the game is still in a testing phase and problems are to be expected...no wipe though. (Ever buy a toaster…
The whole "BETA" moniker is a joke. Just like them saying the goal is to eventually combine all the servers. There is no reason to combine the servers other than to adjust for an eventually shrinking population. These are all PR tools to avoid the usual negative spin that accompanies events like this exploit or server…
Actually he has a very valid point. He bought Zen to trade for AD because the exchange rate was favorable. If the exchange rate is no longer favorable and he is stuck with Zen that he no longer wishes to spend, then shouldn't he be entitled to a refund? The developers allowed a market condition to be created, whether…
