This idea aren't gonna work. Unless you have an extremely long HP bar, as a BOSS would have. Because of the DR, u won't have enough damage reduction, and your HP will depleted eventually. Even you max the defence with possible ultimate gear, you just don't.
Need Forgemaster's Flame on for emergency burst healing and in case astral shield got dispell.Sun burst is a better solution for AP with emergency disruption while divine glow cant do a thing except a little boost of DPS~

It only trigger with HEAL power. Which means, Sun Burst, Forgemaster's flame(Divine), Bastion of Heal... If there's no HEAL in green mentioned in tooltip description, it will not trigger...
