Just got back to the game after an extended break- I was wondering if anyone could give me some tips on how I can improve these quests, if there's been any recent Foundry additions that might be able to make them more fun and/or interesting?
The majority of 1 star reviews I get are usually "loot sucks, wasnt for my class" or "too hard" while all the 4-5 star reviews praise the challenge level of the quest. Different players have different expectations and likes/dislikes for content, that I can understand, but all the "loot sucks voted 1" reviews are super dumb…
Basically the majority of the english speaking playerbase is dumb and entitled. I have no idea why anyone who doesn't like quests that aren't in english would put in the time to finish the thing and rate it 1 other than they're just stupid. Nobody's forcing them to play these. Hopefully Cryptic does something about this…
Todays patch seems to have not only fixed this, but restored the majority of affected quests, and even placed most of them back onto the 'Best' page if they were there. Well, mine at least (Yes, a Kobold Dungeon Master- go play it! ;) ) is back where it should be. I imagine this is only a temporary fix, since really…
This doesn't ban accounts, it just bans the specific Foundry mission that's been report-spammed. The accounts are intact, but that's a lot of hard work down the drain for anyone this happens to.
There's no "could" about it, I think- this is happening, to lots of folks. Even Featured foundry quests are vanishing, and this is likely the culprit. There really needs to be some sort of manual approval system for permabans at least. Temp bans being automatic I can understand, if they're reviewed and approved/dismissed…
Just wanted to give people a heads up- I'm hearing from multiple places that there's a few groups of people abusing the Foundry's report mechanic(take quest, quit, report for violations immediately) to force as many high-profile Foundry quests to get removed as possible. I don't know why they'd do this other than just…
This same problem hit me, too. People are abusing the reporting system to force automatic takedowns of a number of front-page Foundry quests. Mine was 'Yes, A Kobold Dungeon Master' and it was banned this morning for no reason too. Support won't even respond to me- they told me I'll hear back in "three to five business…
The closest you can manage is making an outdoor map and manually building a tower yourself- which will take a long, long time, and not look very good unless you're amazing at it. Alternately, clever use of placeable staircases, rooms with high ceilings, and doorways that teleport you into other rooms could fake it pretty…
Thanks for the link. In that case, it was due to some IP violations though since he was using lots of Conan terminology or something, right? I didn't do anything like that. And there was no way to turn my thing into some sort of EXP grindfest either, which looks like it was happening there. Sorry for making the topic, I…
