  • I agree with most everything you say here in the forums, Eldarth, but in my opinion SCL (currently) is more limited than this toolset. There are some positives, but this is still a better tool. However, SCL is newer and will hopefully get more attention and end up to be a better tool than what we have here. Sadly, Aurora…
  • = Thanks Valcontar. I played around with SCL this weekend. After about 15+ hours in the toolset, at this stage, I do think it is more limited than this current Neverwinter toolsetand much more limited than the Aurora toolset in the original NWN. Positives: Monster creation - ability mixing, level scaling, and elite /…
  • My primary concern centers on the players being able to find the Foundry's. I am uncertain of the logic behind allowing achievement based Foundry's to stay published. There is one with over 15000 reviews in the top 10 on the Best tab. There is also another with over 1000 in the top 20. If a quests average duration is less…
  • Possibly, but they may also have someone looking over their shoulder directing them as well as setting and pushing deadlines. They also have to work within the confines of content created by someone else (or many others). I'm not sure about you, but I am not certain I could be as creative under those conditions. I feel we…
  • I always loved the following: 1 Star - "HAMSTER lootz" 1 star - "!" 2 stars - "Was really good!" 4 stars - "absolutely the best foundry I've ever played!" Enjoy building. When I was building my second Persistent World in NWN 1, I got down and someone told me, "build it and they will come." Good advice. If you truly enjoy…
  • I was getting 4-5 a day, being on page 1 of Best. Once a quest was featured this week my quest dropped to the first one on the second page...I've had 2 total since. Sharp drop off. I'm not complaining as I am glad Featuring is still being done. However, I will never understand why it is necessary to have multiple of the…
  • What kind of foundry? Combat based? RP? etc? Are they complete?
  • I worried for a while as well, when I first published...each 1 or 2 really stung. Zebular is absolutely correct though. You have a high quality Foundry you are building. The positives will absolutely outweigh the negatives for yours. Keep building! :)
  • This was a very well put together quest. The maps and skins are exceptional.
  • A fix would be to have a 5-10 minute quest minimum after X amount of plays/completions. If it is less, it's taken down.
  • If you have, what you consider to be, a complete quest that is ready for the public I would be happy to run and give an in game review. I did try running some under New but they did not seem complete and it left me wondering why it was published. I do much prefer heavy action with a solid story, with light writing. The…
  • Not a promo for my Foundry...but some of the Foundry's are quite good. Could they not satisfy some of the dungeon needs you have? Just an honest question. Is it more of a matter of Items/payout from the dungeons or simply wanted a good gaming experience? A combination?
  • Well the lack of response in these once hopping forums is a good indication of the state of the Foundry. As is about 4 or 5 reviews in my campaign in the last 24 hours. It's in the top 10 and about number 6...if you take out the redundant/multiple (Tired, Clash, and Whispers - all very good BTW) ones in the top 10 and for…
  • It's been a long time! It's fall again and I am poking around to see what's happening in NWN Online. Looks like Foundry has not changed in over a year, sadly. I had hoped in this time to see some enhancements. Alas, it was not to be! :( Fortunately, it is a wonderful tool as is. I've republished the series, but am not sure…
  • Thank you for playing and taking the time to post here! I have heard that 50-60 is tough, without very good gear or playing with someone else. The reason I made the challenge at the level it is, is that while I enjoyed the Crpytic content that I have experienced, there seems to be no middle of the road challenge level. The…
  • Some players just like to troll and give a 1 star and say it is due to loot. I agree with the Op's idea of allowing an author the opportunity to add notes to each review. I do not think it will change final ratings much at all though. Boggles my mind that they have not fixed the empty loot chest problem. Sorry, it just…
  • More great feedback! Thank you! The woodstove's pipe is angled oddly and not very long. I'm not the happiest with it either, but it will suffice. I think you missed one book. :) Yes, the glow trails are a bit trickier due to 3 areas within 1 map. I'll try to iron that out though. With respect to the "disappearing" water.…
  • I'll definately run yours and I'll be honest in my feedback. Although, I enjoy a variety of content and understand that there are a multitude of ways to tell a story and paint a picture.
  • Seriously...good...stuff! Thank you!!! I will consider sending you all of the dialog before publishing now (kidding)! I have a good imagination, but my writing skills are lacking! This is really great. I will go in an make changes, obviously to the unfeatured version, this evening.
  • I seriously need to consider changing the titles...yours are much more appealing!!!! :) I have very mixed feelings about the attack warning as well. I have seen that in other quests and I know some appreciate knowing...but personally it spoils the immersion. I am going to nix it! I enjoy the effects, though I would have to…
  • I'm really happy you enjoyed it! A lot of the changes were from ideas you gave me! Thanks for spotting all those details...UGH, I thought I had them all! :)
  • Sorry about the frustration. it is on the world map in the top northeast. X really does mark the spot! Hope you enjoy!
  • The only thing I can think of that would have happened is you accidently dropped it? Sorry, looks like you will have to start it over. I've not heard that happen before.
  • What's AD?? :) I spend all of my time in the toolset...
  • This statement is disappointing. I do hope that at least some find the foundry fun to run for the story, action, etc. But I guess that is the state of MMO's and video games in general these days...it's all about loot and, "what's in it for me" with little appreciation for the creative aspect and adventure.
  • I was really impressed with this quest. I left a review and a tip. Really good map making. I suspect a lot of replayability and will most likely run it a few more times. Again, loved the maps. I was confused with the floating notes at first and was wondering how you could have missed such a thing in your own run…
  • I've run this quest a few times and love all of the details, from the character interactions, maps, different places to explore, and the choices the players are able to make. Each time I have run this I have seen something different and it really makes me feel like I am playing a classic D&D adventure. If this is the type…
  • I enjoyed this quest! The map making is very well done and had to have taken a great amount of time. Well worth running this quest just to see this, but there is more...a solid story, good character interactions, and some challenging combat. I sent a PM with some minor things to take a look at. Time pending, I may run…
