I agree that using a script that acts as a macro should not be allowed. If you look at glovepie it doesn't do this. It only allows you to assign one xbox button to one keyboard or mouse button. How is that wrong?
I'm using glovepie which is a bit trickier to set up but once you get it right it is just like playing with native controller support. If anyone uses glovepie and wants a copy of the script I'm using please PM me.
If you can't wait for the xbox version I have managed to get Neverwinter on PC running flawlessly with an xbox one controller.
