  • It's all about what skills you have slotted. A GF owns my TR if he uses the knockbacks correctly.

  • Was there ever really a point to PvP? Once you cap out on the gear, there is no reason to PvP anyway. If it had an impact to anything outside of PvP, like giving PvE bonuses or opening PvE dungeons for winning PvP matches, that would give a reason to PvP. Now it's just a fun thing to do to pass the time, which never helps…
  • Same problem with Rank 6's as well.
  • I'm really looking forward to this patch. so many fixes that have been needed for a long time. I'm a TR, but am still looking forward to it. Honestly, Shocking Execution was way OP. Doing 35-50K damage was mind boggling. The DPS of the TR is already huge, but putting that single strike damage on top of it seemed pretty…
  • Actually, there is a way to do this, but it's a little complex. You create one guard encounter, and one normal encounter. Set the guard encounter to disappear when the normal encounter is dead with "Component Complete" Then set a normal encounter to appear in place of the guards when the normal encounter is dead with…
  • With non-story conversations, it's not the dialog ending that triggers the desired response as it is with storyline dialog. With non-storyline dialog, you have to edit the NPC itself, and tell it to do what you want when "Dialog Prompt is reached" Create the original NPC and edit it. Using Disappear When. set it to…
  • LOL I ran into this same thing last night. I was putting in the sentence..."We have to put a stop to the madness." and it was flagged by the profantiy filter. I was totally baffled.

  • Yeah, that or just completely hide the transition item, but there is no way to set the transition object to "not visible" in any way. Once it's linked to the story, the item will always be visible. So you have to hide it. As an example: If you want to have someone cast a spell to open a portal to another map for you. The…
  • An easy way to do this is to not require the key to use the door. Just create a step in the story line to aquire the key, then make the door the transition to the next map directly after that. This way the door cannot be interacted with until the key is obtained in the quest chain. You cannot make a map transition item…
  • We really REALLY need the ability to transition to another map through the "Interaction" section of detail objects without having to put it in the storyline. It would be nice to be able to allow people to go in and out of taverns, or other buildings at will, without having to link it to the story.
  • With all of the speed runners and drone players (People who prefer to do the same thing over and over for the AD or XP), it kills the foundry anyway. The quests that have depth, dialog, and meaning to them are the most fun to play, but due to all of the drones, they get rated poorly because they take too long to run. :(…
  • When they use the exploit to steal RL money from the company, then yes they should be banned. BETA or not.
  • Nope, sorry. I'm fine with seven hours. The rollback is to het rid of all of the items that were sold on the AH dirt cheap before the servers went down.
  • And this happens even without the exploiters. You have people here that have paid for AD and gear, or were Founders that started 7 days ahead of everyone else. After they rollback alot of the exploited accounts or outright ban them, we will have to see where we stand. Wiping the servers just puts everyone back to 0 so…
  • Yeah, I get that they stole from the company, but how does this hurt the economy in the game? It doesn't. It might make some people jealous that they don't have the stuff that someone else has, but that's going to happen even without the exploiters. How is there not a level playing field? You can still get the same gear as…
  • I think you have no clue what a sociopath is. You should look it up sometime so you know what a word means before you use it. People who exploit or cheat, and rob a company of funds, are indeed pathetic. It is no different than robbing a store. They stole from a company and would likely do the same in RL if they had the…
  • Sorry, no. Everyone else would not do this. Any person with any kind of morals would call the bank and tell them of the error, and not try to steal money from the bank and other people.
  • I'm seriously confused by this. What did it break? How did it ruin the economy? Really, there is no economy in the game. The AH has nothing on it worth buying other than consumables, or cosmetic stuff. What it did do was rob Cryptic of cash since people were getting stuff for free instead of paying for it like a normal…
  • If it doesn't have cheese on it, then I'm opening a class action lawsuit!
  • It's not the murders fault that he is able to kill people. It's the victims fault for not being able to defend themselves?
  • So the person robbing the bank is not as responsible for robbing the bank than the bank is?

  • Some of the whining babies on here may need a wipe.
  • There's no point in even bothering with him. He's a troll, as his name states. I presume he is one of the exploiters involved in this fiasco. It is kind of funny that he blames you for "playing make belief about someone on the internet is kind of self-defeating." when he is doing exactly that.

  • I really don't know what you mean. I'm not mad about the game at all. You just totally missed what the conversation was about. I'm just referring to exploiters and cheaters in general. They are all pathetic, whether in RL or in a game.
in exploiters Comment by juravian May 2013
  • No, it is not necessary. You find a bug, you report it, and you go on your merry way. You don't steal from the company by exploiting it over and over again for RL cash.
in exploiters Comment by juravian May 2013
  • What? I think you need to read through the posts first, so you understand what the conversation is about. It was not about the game so much as the concept of those who pay vs. those who exploit.
in exploiters Comment by juravian May 2013
  • I understand your opinion, but the FACT is that if it were not for the people paying for things, then the game would not exist. The company cannot afford to publish new content, or even support the existing servers without some kind of money. The exploiters were taking away the need for anyone to pay for anything, and this…

  • People who paid for founders packs and Zen, never controlled the economy. They got some nice gear as rewards, but not enough to flood the AH with it. But they paid to get it, and are the ones supporting the games future. I don't think the exploiters even ruined the economy, since there really is no economy, but the…
