I'm currently using Cordon/PG, Longstriders/Gushing Wound, Fox for my encounters. CtG and Split for my at-wills. Lone Wolf and BladeStorm as my Features. I briefly tried Pathfinder and I just didn't like Careful Attack not being an actual attack, as a Combat spec. i think Pathfinder is better suited for Trapper and Archer.…
it is a PSN code, you have to redeem it in the PSN Store. but the code is not activated yet as far as I can tell, so it shouldn't work. not sure how you got it to work, there are a whole bunch of us for whom the code does not work at all. says it is "incorrect or no longer valid". PS Support said that the code is not…
Pathfinder and Combat seems to be an odd combo. the Combat Capstone is based on melee at-wills, but the main at-will for Pathfinder kinda...is a debuff and not an attack. how does that work, does Careful Attack apply twice? also, how do you tell when Careful Attack crits, before someone else hits the target? lastly, as far…
this poster does not understand how "healers" work in this game, and he's obviously coming from a game where dedicated healers just stand in the back and do nothing but heal. this game does not work like that. we don't have Healbots in Neverwinter. You have Leaders. They CAN heal, but it is not their sole purpose in life.…
I would be incredibly disappointed if we lost the ability to shift around in combat, just because a few people have GWF envy and want to be able to rush ahead of everyone. Shifting around mobs and out of red in combat is incredibly useful, not to mention fun and cool, it's one of the things I really like about the class.…
oh yeah definitely, I am only asking about the Melee at-wills, I'm probably not going to use Aimed SHOT too much as Combat. I'm just asking about Aimed STRIKE
so just to be clear... you have to have already completed this campaign at least once the regular way, to be able to use this item, correct? if not, this concerns me.
the best I could do so far, at-will wise, was using Gushing Wound to chain Flurry with Split Strike. haven't quite got the timing on it down yet though. I can't gtten Plant Growth yet though. leveling post 60 is a lot longer than pre 60.
@amenar just look at the Combat tree and ask yourself these two questions: Why would you go down the Combat tree to get the Combat Capstone, instead of getting the Trapper Capstone? What does the Combat Capstone bring to the table that is equally as beneficial as the Trapper one? atm, the only reason to do so, is because…
I'm currently playing as full Trapper(Pathfinder), and wishing that I was still playing as full Combat(Stormwarden). I'm aware that numbers-wise, Trapper is the better path. but the Combat style suits me better, I think. I really hope at some point the numbers get fixed with Combat. that said, I have not tried Pathfinder…
The Combat Capstone only affects Melee At-wills. this insinuates a focus on at-will damage for the Combat tree, especially since Combat does not get encounter cooldown feats. the problem with this, is that the melee at-wills do far less damage than they should. "tanky" or not, HRs are not a tank class. they are DPS, their…
absolutely. the Capstone is for at-wills, which implies that the tree and playstyle should be making heavy use of at-wills, and that this is what makes it different from a Trapper. However, I am thinking, contrary to @ghoulz66's suggestion of a blanket at-will buff, I think the buff to at-wills should come from a…
Personally, I have both a regular wireless keyboard and a chatpad. both work fine, but with the chatpad, I don't have to set my controller down. I do agree though, that it should not take 3 button presses to get to the point where you can start typing. you should just be able to hit enter and go.
this game, and the experience they intend for you to have, was basically tailor made for Controllers, even back in 2013 when it launched on PC. I'm not sure where this is "limiting" or where lack of keyboard/mouse takes away from this. It's not like you have 30 skills to rotate through. You have 9. when I played on PC back…
with that said, the lower level zones i skipped like Helms Hold, i can still go back and complete, for the achievements and trophies, yes? or are those quests not available after I outlevel them?
wait, should I be using Hunter's Teamwork INSTEAD of Rapid Shot? cause I've been using them both, and just not slotting Split Shot. also, is there any way to increase the healing from the dropped supplies after the target dies?
@ralexinor I think my issue with Pathfinder is that I really don't see the use of anything it offers other than Slasher's Mark and Careful Attack. and I'm trying to work out in my head where these other abilties would come into play, if at all. whereas with Stormwarden, I make use of nearly everything it brings to the…
I'm 60 now. the main thing that has changed about my view, is that all the other classes seem to get exponentially better, damage-wise, where my damage has fallen off drastically. I think this is a fault of Combat seemingly being based on the usage of At-wills(per the Combat Capstone), while the At-wills do terrible…
