Now it has been nearly six months and I still do not have the Chult recipes that I paid for. The Chult vendor still has my currency, though.

It's been three months and I still do not have the Chultan recipes that I paid for. There are still zero alchemy recipes, and all the others are completely unusable because the required components need recipes that are not there. Only level 18 is available.

That can't be the problem because 1) it happens to me when I queue solo and 2) I have been placed into dungeons which I have not unlocked.

I figured it out. I was indeed in the lower level, accessed by a winding, sloping corridor. When I reached the lower bridge, the cavern beyond appeared empty until I actually walked on the bridge; at that point, the big bad appeared and my quest path also showed up and the arrow icon went green. @ Plasticbat, thanks-- my problem is when I cross that last bridge I find an empty cavern. No war troll, no sparkly path. The rest looks the same.
