I paid the 20 bucks for the extra bag space. It's a convenience that I value at a price I'm willing to pay. *shrug* I pay 60 bucks for a newly released game than I expect access to immediately, and 200 is way outside my bucket for a one-time purchase. If this game ends up being as good as I'm hoping, I will probably spend…
I get the overwhelming feeling that this will only change if it PROVES to be unprofitable. And it probably will rake in a profit, and those saying it should change will be chalked up as freeloading whiners. That's just the outcome I see. That being said, I am also of the camp that 2 is ridiculously low even for a lowly…
I have no doubt. But more to the point, I didn't really ask for a reason. I stated that I don't understand why we still do Need and Greed, because Greed is the same as Pass. Not in coding or theory, but in practice. I'd be pretty cool with a greyed out Need roll for gear that's not for your class, though.
I'm hardly surprised. Lockboxes are a staple in PWE games, isn't it? It wouldn't bother me so much if I could sell them to vendors for a little extra gold. Oh well. Chalk it up to "Business as Usual."
No, I totally get the theory behind it, but it runs on the assumption that people are not dicks. An assumption that any person who has had human interaction at all in their lives knows to not be true. Take you, for example, who feel the need to "explain the obvious".
I never really understood why there was both Need and Greed. It should really just be Vote or Pass, that way it's up to the dice roll instead of a group of people hitting greed and then one HAMSTER who can't use the item anyway hits need. I suppose you could always ask to trade or buy it off him, but who knows that THAT…
Hah. Look at those Elf and Dwarf classes. Pretty old game. Sadly, I never played it, but I love me a good brawler/hacknslash. I can only hope Neverwinter holds up against such classics.
It's my understanding that these are broken down similarly to the classes in 4e. But seeing as I'm not familiar with 4e, it feels to me like you're picking a build more than a class. For example, you want to play a fighter, huh? Well, do you want to play a S&B fighter, or a 2h fighter? I like to think the two were…
Indeed. It was more of a discussion starter, TBH. Just wanted to see what the interest level is on Monks. My circle of friends hate monks for some reason, but it's my favorite class. :P Stabbing is cool and all, but there's nothing more satisfying than punching Orcs in the face, and living to tell the tale.
