  • Perhaps double battle pass credit, similar to the weekend campaign events, might help affected players recoup lost progress? Being a holiday weekend means some players had extra time to devote to the content and were otherwise kept from progressing due to the bug.
  • I am also experiencing no campaign progress for Random Skirmishes and Dungeons, but was awarded the 75 Battle Pass XP for completion of Heroic Encounters in the Rothe Valley zone. I also purchased the unlock for premium tasks, not sure if that plays a role in this particular issue or not.
  • I've noticed this with the Spider Silk and Xvim cloak too, it's like the cloak is stuck to the back of the bounding box for the graphic. It does almost "Z" shape.

  • I was around for Day 1 of Open Beta. When the game launched, a lot of the marketing was done towards fans and players of the Neverwinter Nights games. Blacklake, Tower District/Cloaktower, and Helm's Hold feature prominently in the first Neverwinter Nights, for example. Deekin, of which Deekin Street in Protector's Enclave…
  • > @zhentcurse said: > My view: Keep Blacklake and Tower district as they have a very strong D&D feel and have a connection to the Canon of the Realms. Remove the Chasm instead - the Spellplague stuff is an irrelevant historical footnote in the current Realms.... > > So if you want to make the game feel more like D&D keep…
  • Removing zones that establish the backstory for the zones you decided to keep creates continuity issues and leaves players without their sense of purpose for being in Neverwinter. There has to be more to the story for players to feel invested in their characters. It's almost like ripping the first 200 pages out of a 400…

Make the currency more basic for old sharandar, similar to EE and allowed…

It's just a blanket excuse some of you use in order to say shut up and stop whinging when there are very valid concerns about how…

  • > @codeteller said: > they should just leave the old sharandar campaign in place and let it be From a story perspective, it helps new players have a sense of continuity. From a guild perspective, it is paramount to progression. However, removing content is something Cryptic has done before, and it's left a sour taste in…
  • If they are indeed eliminating the old campaign and zone content they need to be straightforward about it. Keeping players guessing is not "building hype."
  • Having unbound companion and mount drops didn't just push Auction House sales, it also allowed guild mates to give mounts and companions to guild mates in need. It allowed more casual folks that work jobs and don't have 24/7 to grind dungeons a way to get certain needed items. The game is going to become more and more…
  • Who had AD backlogged on their BINGO cards? Folks, this has been going on for years, since Beta, the same arguments keep getting brought up. I'm no economist, but after 7 years, no matter what they do with the conversion rate, it always reaches maximum in a relatively short term, then there's a backlog, and then these same…
  • From a canonical standpoint or will the race in-game wear them? Aasimar are the result of a union between humanoids and celestials, and the opposite of Tieflings. Their canonical favored classes have often been clerics and paladins, so from that point of view, helmets are certainly useable. The in-game artwork suggests a…
  • Garyx and Mor'what's-his-name should have a pile of skulls that become interactive when the Blood War swings in the appropriate directions. This would be similar to the quests in the Stronghold where you challenge various "boss" enemies for shards.
  • Han Solo was cooler than all of them. ;p
  • There are 6 years worth of suggestions, 6 years worth of ideas, 6 years worth of offered solutions, in the old Foundry forum. The powers that be, should they ever regain interest, have but to review the many already available posts. The vast majority of them were left to float like a githyanki ship in limbo. Communication…
  • Ranger-Warden: Penetrating Arrows usually doesn't penetrate the intended target(s), instead it will usually fly over the targets' heads
  • Mod 20: Introduction of the Rank 20 enchant, legendary quality gear and mythic quality artifact weapons... (Let's see how well this post ages...)
  • It's very lopsided. Some people have multiple pieces of the set, while others have absolutely nothing and have been running ME's everyday since they became available weeks ago. There should be a "run X amount of ME's get the off-hand, run Y amount and get the main hand" variable involved. I try not to get too frustrated…
  • I've spent the past four years trying to sell the concept of the Foundry to the playerbase. It was an uphill battle from the beginning. In the end, it was all energy I should've put into creating more. My quests are all republished, including the ones I won't be able to finish. Play them if you'd like. It's hard to sell…
  • I feel like this MMO is being redesigned more for people who want to crunch numbers, read spreadsheets, and less about people who actually play D&D. Funny, because it's being marketed by Hasbro and Wizards of the Coast to the latter, and thus will attract those people with the pen and paper background. Therefore due to…
  • I feel like this should be a quest from General Sabine that you turn in upon completion of the 10 skirmishes to receive the Token of Heroes. Not only does that add a level of immersion, as well as use an underutilized NPC, it eliminates the auto-drop that seems to be the root of the issue.
  • I'm going to just run it when I can, I've given up on any token showing up, no matter what toon I'm doing it on. At this point it's not worth the continuous effort and attention to detail about what drops and what doesn't. There will be more CTA's, hopefully they can work something out by the next one.
  • The editor is very linear about questline. You don't get much variation in direction, logic, or the choice to have variables affect player decisions. You can essentially recreate quests of the type seen during the leveling process. I think someone once did Temple of Elemental Evil, but I'm not certain how successful they…
  • Go in and publish them again. I had to do that with mine. It may be that they are trying to get more of the active players' quests published as opposed to players who have long ago left the game.
