Make sure you have your display options for the text set to 1 second - it's on the far right menu. I agree it's super distracting. It's difficult to avoid getting one shot in a dungeon with that in the way.

Just wanted to suggest trying to submit a support ticket on the Arc website (click Support). I hope the issue gets fixed. I'm sure they are flooded with tickets right now :(
