Finally completed it.........ok well at least i got a ton of XP for it (grrr would have gotten even more if i had completed it during the xp bonus) I mean it was interesting in parts the effects were neat its just to me became overly tedious and while i guess the point was to keep you on your toes it in my opinon just…
I gotta say first of all this quest is too long. I mean it goes on and on. Its a nice little story i guess but i was tryin to do it for the bonus xp for tonight yeah right....forget that. I THOUGHT the thing was OVER when you defeated the "Big cheeze" but NOPE keeps on going. i mean really? Next time i guess i should just…
Yeah its prob does a lot of damange because its lower level. More akin for a quick start at the lower levels. I honestly think its awesome and like the perks :-) but......some people do like to complain heh.
I almost sent a private message but im not even going to bother that......as others have posted it was stated SEVERAL times that the guardian pack has 3 day head start while the Hero of the north pack has 5. considering you get 3 days head start for 60 bucks plus the other items honestly dont think thats a bad deal. Stop…
to be honest im starting to regret my purchase of it. I think some of the perks are nice but i am a little ticked off that for 200 bucks you only get 3 beta weekends (which was included in the 60 buck pack too) it would have been niced to be included in the "closed" close beta. and automatically be entered in the foundry…
Well i shoudnt have to say this but i think Heros of the North should be given access to it as well i mean the foundry is one of the main reasons some of us are interested in the game and i dont entirely like that it was not included in the first beta weekend when alpha (and thus non paying) testers got to try it out free.…
yeah. that may be the reason. they arnt making it a long drawn out 200 hours to cap grind fest as most other MMOs do. its more about just having fun. I hope the rate doesnt change. leveling was fun in doing missions and such other games it can feel like a chore! the game isnt "easy" check out some of the foundry missions…
well i was smart enough to make about 16 demo files in the beta (through the demorecord/playback tool which you can actually repull up without logging in so...i may do so from time to time to "look around" the city for fun just because i can (cant play the game but basically can load up the map and freecam around ;-)…
check your internet connection, i have not had any major issues for me aside from one or two "server not responding times" but overall lag has been very minimized :-) check your firewall settings or what. it must be on your end.
I like the combat system though dodging ...feels a little..clunky but maybe they do that so that you cant double tap dodge all the time? not sure.....other then that yeah its pretty fun . its nice to be able to actually move out of the way to avoid attacks if you can :-) cant do that in world of warcraft (othe then aoe)…
I am glad they are taking their time, there are a few bugs, graphics detail distance could be tweaked, They need to add mouse zooming to the camrea, and they need to fix the current events popping out of the mini map as well as some other things ...im glad they are taking the time. and i think they are being really smart…
"left and right" makes you move left and right like that. but i dont find the double tap you normally can do to "dodge to work that well here yet.....hmm?
the last issue. i feel i might add i feel like it seems at the start theres only one area you can go to ..Neverwinter. it would be nice if they had a town or two outside of Neverwinter you could visit too with like a low level zone outside of the city the problem is it does feel like theres not really a ton of content.…
200 bucks? that sounds fishy. My PC actually is pretty good i have a HP Pavalion Elite desktop and it actually works really well for gaming you cant max out on all settings in all games but it can run star trek online just fine on good settings and i am sure wont have a problem with Neverwinter too :-).
its like the picture "this is not a cigar" It is a MMO. a MMO is a game where you have classes, levels, in a persistant world with thousands of other players. which Neverwinter will have Its just more action based and there are a lot more "instances " in the game with the Foundry and all but this is a MMO not a lobby game.
