If you haven't tried this puzzle yet, give it a shot. So far only one person who has played it has said the monsters are difficult, so I want to test that theory.
I will say this: I kept up with TR's geared at/above my level, and the only problem comes when the TR's go stealth and you get screwed by how much aggro you're generating with all your DPS and your PBAoE's effects. This build would be amazing with a proper team of GF tank, Heals Cleric, and CW/TR dps. Basically one of…
I am noticing after respec that I am much more paperthin. I'm a bit of a glass cannon with this build, and running epic dungeons means people assume GWF = Tank, which is not the case. Anyways, I die quickly if we don't have a cleric on hand, or a dedicated tank. Still, the damage is much better. I was keeping up with much…
Ah. Of course. Because I'm not a human. Oh well, I'll be a little less tanky I suppose. Going to try this out and then offer my first impressions after running an entry level heroic dungeon. Cheers!
Kartoffeln, you have a problem here. You're trying to put more than 20 points into heroic feats. You can only put 20 into heroic, but your last one of armor spec. is 3/3 but you don't have enough points to put any into that.
Lol, hey Hatick. Soltyrr here! It's just that stupid blue ring that keeps dropping. I wouldn't worry about it. I'd worry about very rare purples that drop though!
I could offer up my mumble server for this use. I don't use it much, and it's really only for when I play Chivalry:Medieval Warfare. So if you guys want to use it, let me know!
That wraps up this contest. Look to the first page of this thread for the announced winners. Second post from the top should show it. They'll be announced by this evening! Cheers and thanks to all who participated!
The sudden surge of entries is awesome. Keep it up! As of writing this (7:33 am CST) there is still about 9 hours to enter. Keep 'em coming, or edit yours to perfection if that's your dealio! :D
Well, only one person has commented/posted with an entry. Either there are very few writers out there who are part of the NWO community, or everyone already has a Guardian pack. Or maybe we're just terribly lazy people and lack creative flow right now? Anyways, awesome to have at least one person willing to put something…
On a more on-topic note, what's the verdict here? Are we using one, the other, or both? If both, I need to get my info over to Death. If on the other hand Death is more inclined to just grab the info from Bobcat's, that'd save a lot of us the extra hassle. Just let silly old me know.
I wasn't going to reply on this...but seeing a few other 'Stars do it, I'll do the same. This is utterly reprehensible behavior on your part. If you don't want to hear the person advertising a quest (whether that's proper etiquette or not) then you should squelch them with whatever means the game offers. It is not license…
Wininoid that's a spectacular post. I think it should be featured for everyone to read somewhere, somehow. It includes most of the strong suggestions we 'Stars have been making and it organizes it into a great paint-by-numbers sort of 1, 2, 3... fashion. Awesome!
There is certainly a stigma with some types of roleplayers when it comes to games like WoW and others. But I don't think all roleplayers are that way. Personally I just like to immerse myself in the story and setting. To me, that's roleplay. :) Anyways I think this thread has run it's course.
I agree with pretty much everything above, esp. Gillrmn's post(s). One thing I think I will add/stress that I didn't catch from the above is... Test. Retest. Test again. Test again! Keep on testing it. You will always catch things you missed. So keep playing through it. Over. And over. Beat that **** thing to death. And I…
Ah, that makes sense. Though it could pose a few problems, it's probably the easiest way for those-who-are-in-charge to handle the situation. I actually kind of approve. I see no reason that people MUST make such content, even if I wouldn't be flustered by it myself.
Tricky, tricky. The best way for them to police this kind of stuff is if they have a few GM's or community managers going around looking at quest reviews that indicate a UGC might have it, or if when they review them they do it. It's going to be complicated I imagine. I really can't see them saying, "Well, okay, go ahead…
Hey All! I'm gbachura/@gbachura, and I've been playing all sorts of computer games since about 1994 and on. I've been addicted to the NWN1/NWN2 game series for a long time and I've been an avid roleplayer for about 15+ years. I like to write stories, and I also LOVE to make jumping puzzles. You should look forward to both…
Just remember, just because you didn't win doesn't mean I won't feature you later in the story or at some other point. Also, everyone has a chance to win at my other contest here: http://nw-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?139391-A-Roleplayer-s-Contest-Scene-Portrait
Contest Results! All the entries are well worth the read, but not everyone can win. It was a very tough decision, so much so that I had to read these and think about it overnight. So, on the day of the games release... With much pleasure I announce the following winners! 1st Place: Druid2009, for your use of strong imagery…
