Yes much of the DPS classes in this game have yet to figure out that it's their responsibility to kill adds, and that the adds are worse than the boss. By the time you're lvl 50, AS and feat buffed HG will make you one tough cookie, but also it means the majority of your mitigation and practically all of your healing will…
nope, it's replenished by using your encounter or at will powers and if you're in divinity mode, they're taking from divinity so obviously they won't add to it. It says you build it by doing damage, but the amount is not actually based off your damage, but by using the power.
nope, and just for the record, even a "healing" speced claric doesn't do 'insane' healing as there really isn't such a thing in this game. Cleric healing tends to follow the old adage "An ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure" and largely focuses on damage prevention versus replenishment. This comes largely…
First off, it's not really a 'hybrid' class. You have to spec for most of that anyways to get those abilities, like actually being tanky, which kills your dps. We went through all of this in Classic WoW with the 'hybrid tax' and it showed how much it never worked as at end game, pallies and druids were seriously…
What many of you are overlooking is for many classes, most all of them actually, your spec determines how you play and different specs are needed for different types of play, like pve vs pvp. Case in point, I run a healing cleric as my main, but lets say I wanted to change to dps for pvp, or for pve just for a change, now…
Thanks for the input guys. I mostly intend on building my GWF to be a trash tanker to keep adds off the DC as much as possible while still pumping out the aoe dps, and doing pvp on the side. I'm currently sitting at 18 str, 17 dex and 14 con. (I dropped a point each into str and con at level 10) I figured I'd drop the two…
Cleric for leveling, ironically with our righteousness debuff, we can't heal ourselves well enough, and she helps to cover that. at 60 probably the Ioun stones or the cat.
The question is which is better? Does Ethereal Boon give more DP than the one in the Righteousness tree that gives a flat 15% increase in AP gain? (first or second tier) I'm gonna say I have a gut feeling that Ethereal Boon is probably better while leveling since your stats are much lower and it's not stat related, but a…
