For normal downtimes, yes. But since this was an "emergency takedown" they probably hadn't any idea whatsoever when they would bring the servers back up, so it's understandable to have this kind of downtimes without an eta. Somehow, they not only managed to make the "primary" attribute of the class the least desirable one, and then they also force you to allocate points to it. Now that's some awesome class design, isn't it?

Lol, as if they'd wipe at this stage. They'd never, ever, even consider wiping for real. They will definitely just talk this down/ignore it and proceed as usual, maybe ban a few accounts in the process and that's it. Of course, the money and goods will be long laundered and spread over an army of mules by this time.

Actually, it's perfecty fine to discuss stuff in open beta and have a good laugh about it, because it all gets wiped in the end anyway. Oh wait.

You seem to be pretty oblivious about the foundry. You can not, in any shape or form, create anything that even vaguely resembles a "modern setting". Maybe you could chose human interior, place one desk and a chair in it and call it an "office", but it won't exactly look modern still...

Yes, the tooltip *should* read something like "for the purpose of damage calculations, your strength counts as 2/4/6 points higher", as that is what it's meant to do. Actually, tr and cw are where they are supposed to be, dps wise. Gwf need a serious buff to be competitive, gf and cleric aggro need to get fixed. Those problems make tr stand out, yes, but that doesn't mean that nerfing tr is the only viable solution.

Most likely, the gear sets will be set in stone. Other paragon powers will come, but more "fighting styles" aka dual wield gf means new animations for everything as well, which is about the same amount of work as a completely new class but won't sale for nearly as much.

Bad suggestion. Positive reinforcement always works better then punishment. If anything, there should be rewards for players *participating*, and a slight cherry on top for winning. And we aren't even there yet, stats wise. Offensive stats and especially enchants (yes, those with the $160 price tag) scale much better then defensive stats.

Or because things get nerfed/buffed, or when you hit 60 and realize some of your powers are useless now, and because being expected to permanently run the same spec in both pvp and pve is such incredibly good game design.
