There is something I wonder about. I have been away from this game for a couple of months and returned recently. Since I wanted to pick up things again, I started with a new character. Now my old characters were female dwarves and female halflings, so I created another female halfling. Right away it was clear this was not…
Hardmode in these games often mean the mobs get stronger and/or are harder to hit; they get a buff and the player gets some kind of debuff. Another poster already said it in this topic, you can easily simulate it yourself by undergearing. The hardmode feature I would love to see is the one there was in the orginal game…
About skipping a quest. I did it once. It was in the Blackdagger Ruins. You go into a mine, kill a wolflike boss at the end, he is pretty tough, and free some people. I skipped it, because I had lots of graphical issues there. The next problem was that I could not progress further through the zone. Some quests seem…
My basic tactics are to pull a boss mob out of its spawn zone and fight it in an area where you can take cover, where there are objects, and or traps, fires. You can kite the mob around and evade things, but the AI is mostly not that clever. The spawn zone will always bring up adds to. The boss mob will do it too, but it…
No I do/did not buy a companion. They are to expensive and should be account wide for the price they have now. Not sure if I would spend Zen on them however. I do like the idea. The animals could be a nice addition to the personality of your character. All my characters have the dog, just to have a loyal companion. I…
Within race, class and gender you can change how you look, hair, skin colour, tattoos everything. It is broken now. You cannot see your character. You can use it however, I did, but you go more or less into the blind. If you want to change some minor things, like adjusting some sliders, you can see the result in the blue…
Not so much a dwarven companion, although I support the suggestion. I would like to see basic companions from all races and classes, so we can mix and match as we like. Some way of customization would also be great. Just think of it as Bridge Officers in Star Trek Online. People that play that game, know what I mean.
There is a serious interaction problem however. When there is a conformation window, go to another zone, sell/buy an item etc, the ok button does not respond or I get another pop up. If I can move to another zone, the yes/no pop up is still active in the new zone.
A thrue melee class would be rather be dull, I think. You have a swing and a stabb. A shield wearer can use his shield of course. A non magical ranged class, the ranger, can ... shoot of course. Yet I really don't like it when a ranged/non ranged fighter class can do all kinds of fancy stuff, so it becomes a sort of magic…
I got two blue items. One of them is a pair of boots. They are level 16. So I must have received them on a level 14 or 15. I am going to fast for the content. Mostly the mobs are two levels higher than I am. The loot is also higher and when it drops I seldom can use it. That blue pair of boots is still on the character and…
