Yes it's about having fun, but playing a game with a broken economy is not that fun. It's not about competing, it's about being able to enjoy the game normally which will be hard to do.

Agree with OP but what can you expect. *looks at STO launch*, well time to walk away unless they do a 180 and actually fixes the issue instead of sugar coating it and tries to pr things away.

Except it goes back longer than 70 hours. Still they lost a lot of player already by just doing this so they still lose, guess they rather want exploiters and people that don't care instead of people that do care.

Yeah most people don't get it that the game was released on the 30th last month, basicly this month. I'm sad there wasn't a wipe. The exploit has been in use a lot the last 2-3 days but not at the scale during those last 7 hours but still, it was used enough to impact the economy. Then there's been acutions here and there…

And you haven't fixed the AH exploit issue, the afterfall wasn't fixed witha a 7 hours rollback when it has been in effect for a longer time than that.

I want a wipe, not a new server. But since we won't see any wipes then yeah, a new server that will never be merged, sure, that would be fine, they could name it. Server Name: No exploting here, go to the other server for that.

At least stay and see what they do before leaving. If they don't do a good enough job that a full wipe would've done then do what all the other players that want to enjoy a non exploited game, leave. It's actually exploit number #7 I think, you missed a couple, hard to do since the game is full with exploits (I probably missed a couple). No most boss exploits are still in effect, this time they managed to create AD from the AH and destroyed the ZEN + AD economy in the game.

Fixing the AH would take a week or two to fix since it goes back to the Head Start, they couldn't have gone through all the logs so fast.. But since they opted for a quick fix I'm leaning towards dropping this game and invest in TESO instead. It stood between these two games as my future mmo but since this one is now…

Kinda funny since this AH exploit has been in use since the head start, just not in the same scale and it wasn't that largely known.. I wonder what the reasoning behind "wouldn't need to go that far back" is, since clearly, that's what they need to do in order to fix the issue..

I support a full wipe. I doubt they have cleaned everything out since it goes way back to the head start period, so if they don't wipe or do a longer investigation I don't see the point in continuing playing this game. Basicly most people won't get punished for exploiting, just because they where lucky that they didn't…

Sure, if they investigate all the way to the head start then I don't see a wipe being necessary, but I doubt cryptic will put the time and resources to do that (not sure they even have it). So yeah, they'll fix some of the exploited AD but not all and that's just not acceptable. I'd rather have a complete wipe to fix all…

Sure they can, but do you think they have the time and resources to track thousands upon thousands of trades, then make sure it's a mule account and not some innocent guy that got mailed or traded a cat.. Now that is laughable..

Sounds like every other mmo out there. Wow is the same, new content is released, after a month or two your done with it and wait for the next wave of content to be released..
