I had th same problem. But I also experienced it with another them downloaded at same time for different game. I think it may have to do with new PS4 firmware update

I had the same problem...main stuck in helm's hold. I was not able to get the save data deletion to resolve the issue. My fix was to start a new character. Once that new character was in protector's enclave, I was able to go into options and switch characters. Hope this helps!
