I got stuck today too. Is it the teleporter issue mentioned in some of the other threads or something specific to this foundry?

were the patch notes at the start of this thread the full patch notes? I ask because there was no mention that professions are changing so you can only do a single "emergency hire" rather than rehiring with as many open slots as are available.
