I do use Duelist Flurry... I just switch between the two depending on the situation, if I'm playing against smart opponents who don't like to sit still I'll use Sly Flourish... I primarily use DF against clerics and I don't need to worry about my mobility.
Of course you need gear, what I meant is that you don't need the best gear to compete. With T1's and rank 7 enchantments you'll reach all of the stat soft caps.
To get high crits with lashing blade follow these steps. Step 1 - Pop Lurker's Assault (60% damage increase) Step 2 - Stealth (Another damage increase + auto crit on Lashing Blade) Step 3 - Use Lashing Blade on unsuspecting victim Bingo = 20-40k crits with Lashing blade Try it out for yourself, don't take my word for it,…
Rarely, depends on the situation, mostly it's 2v1 and sometimes 3v1's if everything is done properly. =) I'm also sure that this isn't the first time you've fought us, we play too much- next time take a screenshot of a match where the entire team is there. ;)
Heaven / Darkness both crashed early at the same time during that match (notice their stats?) - Ghost was running solo @ base 3 and getting zerged down, I was controlling base 2 and 1 by myself and Death is a new player we have in our group. :( Ghost had to leave halfway through the match because of RL and was practically…
Yup, the economy in this game is one of the worst I've seen. The prices for almost everything are super-inflated, I think we can thank the devs/cheaters equally on that. If you can scrounge up even the low level versions of the enchant, it's worth it, or farm it from the dungeon- word of warning though, farming dungeons…
Of course, you are correct... but all that means is I'm overcapped- I'm sure you noticed how scaling works in this game, you get very little gain from stats after a certain point. Which means that everyone is on a level battlefield with the exception of the soulforge + plaguefire enchants (or vorpal is it works) - those…
I'm not gonna lie, the TR is super-geared but that's not what makes it OP, gear itself doesn't make a big difference the jumps are very small (unlike Aion) - you can reach soft caps in T1 or PvP gear and the Vorpal doesn't work properly - I'm not getting 50%, I don't think it works at all tbh - been testing plaguefire…
CW is not as OP as a TR, I've been recently playing a TR and let me tell you can 3v1 - 4v1 easy without breaking a sweat, it's ridiculous how OP TR is in the right hands. =/
Yup repel is pretty good IF it's used properly, sometimes I'll be overwhelmed by a group of enemies and an enemy mage will repel me to safety. Majority of mages I fight use the spell improperly and it actually works against them.
The set I use is the Shadoweaver since each piece gives a crit bonus + 2 piece crit bonus. Crit is a great stat to have any toon! Try to reach near the 40% + mark with crit / recharge. I'm using the Ancient Court Magister 2 piece T3 Orb also to help boost my recharge up to 40%. Offense - Azure (Crit) Defense - Radiant (HP)…
GWF are good in the right hands, they just have a high skill cap. Sure they have a handicap, but that's what makes them interesting. You need the right spec / gear as a GWF and you'll be able to compete as the underdog.
I've had a bad experience using Shard spell, half the time it doesn't even work properly. Repel on the other hand is a situational ability that can be very good if use properly. I have more an aggressive play-style and I prefer to keep the enemies close and off balance by utilizing heavy damage and quick CC. The gear in…
It's Heaven, Hell, Ghost & Darkness... We split our teams earlier Heaven & Hell vs Ghost & Darkness and that was when I realized how insanely OP a well-geared rogue is in the right hands. Now I know why teams keep going AFK against us, demoralizing getting 1 shot constantly. I could take them on 1v1 but when they teamed up…
Ice Rays is a great spell, I am currently trying it out instead of CoI and it's working pretty good. So yes, you can swap it out as you see fit. I tend not to restrict myself to certain set of abilities, sometimes I'll use push - sometimes shield - sometimes ice rays - sometimes coi etc... Just have to be flexible. :)
For the offensive slots you can go Silvery (Recovery) Azure (Crit) or Radiant (Power) - My recovery is soft capped from gear and power scaling sucks so I chose Azure stones for Offensive slots cause crit is awesome. Now for the defensive slots you can go Silvery (Deflect) Azure (Defense) or Radiant (HP) - Again I prefer…
Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it! It would be nice if PvE gear was for PvE and PvP gear had PvP oriented stats. (Such as X dmg reduced in PvP or X dmg increased etc. That might be a step in the right direction after tweaking certain abilities (without overly nerfing a class into oblivion). Also it's a shame that some of…
Fighting AFK'rs/Quitters in the same 2 BGs makes me go something... something.. @_@ Game isn't too bad though... Some need slight tweaks but the key to winning and being successful is coordination and teamwork. Some classes are less dependent on other members to succeed (CW/TR) while others (GF/GWF) are more team-oriented…
Lucky enough to be in a great guild of friends who've been running together for over 10 years, we're pretty hardcore when it comes to MMOs. You can check out the other vids in my channel and see that we've run DAoC / Aion / WoW etc... Almost every MMO at some point end game PvP. We farmed up the dungeons (worst PvE dungeon…
Thx, the gear doesn't make a big difference - it's the weapon / armor enhancements that are awesome. Stats themselves give very minor gains - but do make a difference if they're all properly capped out. Biggest difference is the enchantments! Shadow Weaver Set - Court Magister Weapon Combo Slavemaster Rings / Belt…
Rogues are frustrating to fight against yes, hard to counter 1 hits from stealth - but if you do know that there is a rogue in the area be ready to preemptively blink several times in an effort to make him waste his big hits. Once your past the danger phase, lock him down and go for the kill. =)
