I was very disappointed when I saw that they did not release Rangers. Releasing this game without a class that wields the bow was a big mistake on Cryptic's part in the first place, but now they're going to make us wait months on end? I don't think that I am going to be playing until Ranger is released. Until then, you…
Which makes it ridiculous that the game only allows you two characters to start the game with. If you're going to have a maximum of 50 character slots, at least let players have 5 free ones.
Well, I believe that Ranger class is going to be released when Neverwinter goes live. If you guys have seen the "Coming Soon" class option in the character creation, you can see bows, daggers, and lances sticking out from behind the insignia. We have been told that Ranger Class will specialize in either Bows or other melee…
This is a good idea, except moderators are kind of a drag to have in chats, or at least that has been my experience with chat moderators. When the conversation goes to something that isn't 100% wholesome and Christian-y, some moderators tend to start waving around their power. But, I suppose that it all just comes down to…
You look stunning in that dress, and in all honesty, I think female half-orcs are very attractive if you construct them correctly. Yes! I was rather disappointed when I saw the character models for Elves in this game. It is extremely hard to make an attractive female Elf. They always look... off, or at least that is my…
If the game isn't P2W already--and I think it is--then it will be down the road. Games from Perfect World Entertainment always end up sinking this way. Once the usual horde of cash shoppers is finished, nobody will stand a chance.
Haha... You complain about people being grammar HAMSTER when you turn around and do the same thing? Not even gonna bother with you. Oh! And, you're very welcome. :)
That is false. I am not sure why, but many people who are unhappy with certain game features whine, rage, and threaten to leave until it is fixed. Astoundingly, they never seem to make it to the actual leaving part until they see that nobody is even listening to them. And in all seriousness, I know that the developers work…
Well, I don't see how your experience with D&D is correlated to anything else in that statement. If anything, it would make one think that with such a vast experience of the D&D world you wouldn't make small mistakes like that. Obviously, you're just showboating.
2 months to level a single character? That seems to be an outrageously long time. It takes me 2-3 weeks, depending on the class, and I am not even a hardcore gamer. I would say I am a hybrid of the two.
Take your time fixing this, please. I would rather have you guys thoroughly review this issue than do a quick-fix only for it to break down again later. Thanks for all of your hard work.
Cryptic is just the game design company, and they're solely financed by Perfect World Entertainment. So, it is more likely that PWE is the moneyhungry company. (They are.)
I was going to make a thread for the exact same reason! I was really disappointed when I didn't see a 'Request Duel' button when I right-clicked a player on my first day. Let's face it. Sometimes, people just have to sit down, talk, and sort out their problems like civilized human beings, and other times we just have to…
Well, let us be frank. Perfect World Entertainment is a scurrilous company that will do whatever it takes to ensure profit. They have proven that time and time again. And, isn't that what this is all about? Protecting profits. Now, players who reach level 60 will have to stick around a bit longer before they get bored…
Yes, I have had this same issue a few times while in dungeons. Not only does it impair your vision, it totally depletes game immersion. An idea that I had was to have the loot rolls appear when all members of the party are no longer in combat.
And the severity of this issue will only increase as they continue to introduce new classes into the game. I am pretty sure Ranger is due to be released when the game goes live.
Please, don't do this Cryptic, Devs, PWE, or whoever is in charge. This would not be a wise decision. We would see inflation on an unprecedented scale, and then when things became just too expensive, the economy would collapse. You have ten pages here of people advising against it, and most likely another 50 threads…
Unfortunately, my laptop is too ****ty for me to run Neverwinter on anything except the very lowest graphical settings. It is horrible. And even then, my FPS still plummets here and there. Especially, when I am PvP'ing or I am in a dungeon or skirmish with multiple players. I mean, it reminds me of Minecraft. That is how…
This thread brings up a topic that I have really been hoping to discuss, so I hope you don't mind if I hijack your thread, kind sir. I've played a number of Perfect World games, like Forsaken World and Perfect World International. All of these games are F2P, and if you're only interested in PvE, you will probably have a…

It is quite entertaining to watch a conversation about an ill-timed maintenance devolve into people insulting each other because of their country of origin! All I know is that I need a way to waste my Saturday night and this is incredibly inconvenient! :( However, I am glad they are improving the capabilities of the…
At the moment, they are most likely more worried about working out all of the minor bugs and glitches that people will encounter. I don't have very much experience with this studio, but I can see they put a lot of work into the character models, so I am willing to bet they will have a wide selection of cosmetic items once…
